Hall Research 16 Channel Video & Power Extension System

Enhance your video and power transmission capabilities with our robust 16-Channel Video & Power Extension System. This comprehensive system is designed with a Rack-Mount Sender unit and is compatible with one or more Receiver units (sold separately), providing a versatile solution for your video and power extension needs.

Our system is engineered to transmit high-quality video along with Phantom Power, converting video inputs and power signals into a format that can be transmitted using a single Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable with RJ45 connectors. It is compatible with both UTP and STP (shielded) cables, and supports Cat5, 5e, 6, or higher, offering you a wide range of connection options.

For optimal performance in runs of over 250 feet, we suggest using "Skew-free" or "Zero-skew" Cat5 cables. At the receiving end, a compatible receiver (sold separately) is used to convert the UTP signal back to VGA and power, ensuring the integrity of your video and power signals over long distances.

Housed in a durable 2 RU, 19" Rack mount enclosure, our system is equipped with connectors for up to 16 video inputs and multiple RJ45 output connectors for connection to remote systems. The RJ45 outputs on the Sender can drive Cat5 LAN cables up to 500 feet (150 meters) with minimal degradation of video quality, depending on the resolution of the VGA signal.

The receiver is designed to compensate for video signal losses in long cable runs, ensuring consistent, high-quality video transmission. We also offer models with less than 16 outputs and those that combine the features of the UV1-S-16X, UVA-16X, and the UV232-16X, providing you with a flexible combination of Power, Audio, and RS-232.
