When photographing with the Hasselblad 907X, the joy is in the journey. Adorama delivered the camera on time, brand new, and sealed in a box. Setting up the camera is easy with Bernard's guidance at Hasselblad customer support. The build on it is exceptional, smaller than other medium-format cameras, and has a substantial feel to it. The Hasselblad cameras have a unique feature to shoot and view images at waist level, which is less invasive. I'm not a paid sponsor, so I'll tell you like it is. The color rendition on the Hasselblad 907X is the most accurate I've seen to date in my 50 years being a photographer. This is not an action camera like for events. This is more for doing fine art, however, I was able to hook up my Pocket Wizards and the Godox Lux Senior flash, which produces stunning results even with movement.

I am impressed with 907X! I ordered it with the XCD 45P lens, the control grip and an extra battery. I took the time to study the on-line manual along with using the camera. It has paid off in helping me use the system for what it is designed for... A slower, more deliberate approach to photographing life around me. If you are interested in purchasing this camera, I recommend buying the 45P lens, the control grip and an extra battery. This is a great starter set. I find the lens quite sharp and easy to use. The control grip really helps speed up changing camera settings when walking around. And you will need the extra battery....battery life is shorter than what I am used to in other camera systems.

This is a quality camera in the tradition of Hasselblad. I am still learning the operation of it, but everything I have seen so far indicates that Hasselblad put a lot of thought into the design. Excellent camera

Can't really say that I used it. The battery wouldn't charge completely and it went back to Hasselblad for a checkup. Had a couple of days to look at it. Everybody was courteous and very helpful toward my problem.

If you're a Hasselblad fan, and have older versions of medium format camera bodies laying around then this is a great camera. Grip helps a lot. I only have two major cons: 1) no exposure lock, not even with the grip! 2) shooting vertically is cumbersome when you have to use the screen. It should articulate on another axis.

Camera is a masterpiece. It may not be for everyone but it works well as a studio camera and is small enough to work for street photography as well.

I can't recommend this camera enough. It is an absolute joy and just the best camera I've ever used. If you're looking to jump into the medium format game, this is the camera to buy. It's a gorgeous looking camera with even more gorgeous results. My friends, family, and colleagues have all remarked on the photos it produces. There have been a lot of "wows" lately. After having the camera since October of last year, here are some important takeaways that everyone should know before buying: (1) the screen brightness is great. There are a few times in direct sunlight where it can become hard to see, but for the most part it's fine; (2) the autofocus is pretty slow. Coming from years of being a Canon user, it's hard to get used to it. I rarely use the camera's autofocus and have switched to manual, as I find it faster and more accurate to get sharp focus; (3) Some have complained about it, but I haven't had any issues with the blackout period between photos. It's not your sports camera, but I can still take a picture of a hawk flying off a tree with brilliant results; (4) the user menu is the best in the world. It makes my Canon 5d look like it's a 1960s computer; (5) It's not weather-sealed so you have to be mindful of the locations you are shooting in. If you need weather-sealing, grab the X1D II; (6) for portrait photography it can get a little clunky rotating the body. You can still do it, but I'd consider the grip handle if you often take portraits; (7) It's the best camera ever.

In bright conditions (white sandy beaches or snow) you can't see the screen, a dark focusing hood cloth is needed under these circumstances. Great studio camera.

This brings back so much of the joy of shooting medium format. I love this camera. I only wish it worked with H series lenses directly so the autofocus would work.

Absolutely love this camera. I have it adapted with a Nikon 58mm f/1.2 lens and it achieves a stunning medium format look.

When it comes to medium format photography, the Hasselblad 907X 50C stands as a testament to the seamless fusion of iconic design and advanced digital technology. This compact powerhouse, the lightest and smallest medium format camera ever produced by Hasselblad, weighs a mere 7 oz and measures just over an inch in thickness. Its design pays homage to the legendary 500-series V-system, while incorporating modern features that cater to the needs of today's photographers.
The Hasselblad 907X 50C is equipped with the CFV II 50C digital back, a modern interpretation of the classic A12 and A16 film backs. This digital back features a 50MP CMOS sensor that delivers vibrant, high-resolution images with a wide dynamic range and exceptional color depth. The 3.2" tilting touchscreen LCD enhances user experience, reminiscent of a waist-level finder, and the built-in Wi-Fi facilitates easy transfer of shots and remote control.
The camera's compact design does not compromise its versatility. With an X-system lens mount, the 907X opens up a world of possibilities for photographers, allowing the use of autofocus and leaf shutter-enabled XCD lenses. Optional adapters make it compatible with a range of lenses including HC, HCD, V, XPan, and select third-party lenses, providing a broad spectrum of creative choices.
The Hasselblad 907X 50C also excels in wide-angle photography, especially when paired with XCD lenses. Its medium format capabilities ensure that every image, from expansive landscapes to detailed close-ups, is captured with stunning clarity and detail.
The CFV II 50C Digital Back is a marvel of innovation, boasting a 50MP CMOS sensor that captures images with up to 14 stops of dynamic range. Whether shooting in bright daylight or under a moonlit sky, its impressive ISO range of 100-25600 ensures every shot is clear and grain-free. The Hasselblad Natural Color Solution guarantees that every image captured is a true representation of reality, with colors reproduced with staggering accuracy.
Beyond stills, the CFV II 50C also allows for high-resolution video recording in stunning 2.7K (2720 x 1530) and HD (1920 x 1080) resolutions. With a 3.5mm mini-phono input port for external microphone connectivity, your videos are not just visually stunning, but audibly clear as well.
The 907X 50C's V-system interface ensures timeless compatibility, pairing seamlessly with almost any Hasselblad V system film camera since 1957. Its dynamic 3.2" touchscreen LCD offers an intuitive touch interface for effortless menu navigation and control. The integrated lithium-ion battery ensures streamlined power management, while dual SD memory card slots and built-in Wi-Fi provide uncompromised storage and connectivity.
In conclusion, the Hasselblad 907X 50C is more than just a camera; it's a celebration of the past, present, and future of photography. It's designed to not just meet, but exceed the expectations of discerning photographers worldwide.
