When photographing with the Hasselblad 907X, the joy is in the journey. Adorama delivered the camera on time, brand new, and sealed in a box. Setting up the camera is easy with Bernard's guidance at Hasselblad customer support. The build on it is exceptional, smaller than other medium-format cameras, and has a substantial feel to it. The Hasselblad cameras have a unique feature to shoot and view images at waist level, which is less invasive. I'm not a paid sponsor, so I'll tell you like it is. The color rendition on the Hasselblad 907X is the most accurate I've seen to date in my 50 years being a photographer. This is not an action camera like for events. This is more for doing fine art, however, I was able to hook up my Pocket Wizards and the Godox Lux Senior flash, which produces stunning results even with movement.

I am impressed with 907X! I ordered it with the XCD 45P lens, the control grip and an extra battery. I took the time to study the on-line manual along with using the camera. It has paid off in helping me use the system for what it is designed for... A slower, more deliberate approach to photographing life around me. If you are interested in purchasing this camera, I recommend buying the 45P lens, the control grip and an extra battery. This is a great starter set. I find the lens quite sharp and easy to use. The control grip really helps speed up changing camera settings when walking around. And you will need the extra battery....battery life is shorter than what I am used to in other camera systems.

This is a quality camera in the tradition of Hasselblad. I am still learning the operation of it, but everything I have seen so far indicates that Hasselblad put a lot of thought into the design. Excellent camera

Can't really say that I used it. The battery wouldn't charge completely and it went back to Hasselblad for a checkup. Had a couple of days to look at it. Everybody was courteous and very helpful toward my problem.

If you're a Hasselblad fan, and have older versions of medium format camera bodies laying around then this is a great camera. Grip helps a lot. I only have two major cons: 1) no exposure lock, not even with the grip! 2) shooting vertically is cumbersome when you have to use the screen. It should articulate on another axis.

Camera is a masterpiece. It may not be for everyone but it works well as a studio camera and is small enough to work for street photography as well.

I can't recommend this camera enough. It is an absolute joy and just the best camera I've ever used. If you're looking to jump into the medium format game, this is the camera to buy. It's a gorgeous looking camera with even more gorgeous results. My friends, family, and colleagues have all remarked on the photos it produces. There have been a lot of "wows" lately. After having the camera since October of last year, here are some important takeaways that everyone should know before buying: (1) the screen brightness is great. There are a few times in direct sunlight where it can become hard to see, but for the most part it's fine; (2) the autofocus is pretty slow. Coming from years of being a Canon user, it's hard to get used to it. I rarely use the camera's autofocus and have switched to manual, as I find it faster and more accurate to get sharp focus; (3) Some have complained about it, but I haven't had any issues with the blackout period between photos. It's not your sports camera, but I can still take a picture of a hawk flying off a tree with brilliant results; (4) the user menu is the best in the world. It makes my Canon 5d look like it's a 1960s computer; (5) It's not weather-sealed so you have to be mindful of the locations you are shooting in. If you need weather-sealing, grab the X1D II; (6) for portrait photography it can get a little clunky rotating the body. You can still do it, but I'd consider the grip handle if you often take portraits; (7) It's the best camera ever.

In bright conditions (white sandy beaches or snow) you can't see the screen, a dark focusing hood cloth is needed under these circumstances. Great studio camera.

This brings back so much of the joy of shooting medium format. I love this camera. I only wish it worked with H series lenses directly so the autofocus would work.

Absolutely love this camera. I have it adapted with a Nikon 58mm f/1.2 lens and it achieves a stunning medium format look.

You can experience the perfect blend of classic design and modern technology with the 907X 50C 50MP Medium Format Mirrorless Camera, equipped with a Hasselblad XCD 45mm f/4 P Lens. This unique system seamlessly connects Hasselblad's rich photographic history with the future, offering a bridge between the past and the present.
The 907X camera body, Hasselblad's smallest medium format camera body ever, weighs a mere 200g. Its slim, lightweight design is built to smoothly integrate with the CFV II 50C digital back, creating a highly compact digital mirrorless medium format camera. This combination allows for shooting with a wide range of Hasselblad optics, including all XCD Lenses and all HC/HCD, V System, and XPan Lenses via adapters.
The CFV II 50C digital back is equipped with a stunning 50-megapixel CMOS medium format sensor, individually calibrated for optimal performance. It boasts an impressive color depth, a dynamic range of 14 stops, and the ability to capture full-size in-camera JPEG images. Hasselblad's Natural Color Solution technology is integrated into the camera's system, delivering superb, true-to-life tones that match what the human eye sees.
The CFV II 50C digital back can be paired with most Hasselblad V System cameras made from 1957 and onwards, in addition to technical cameras. This makes it easy to combine analog and digital shooting. When combined with the 907X camera body, the photographer gains access to the entire XCD Lens range, providing autofocus and autoexposure.
The 907X 50C celebrates Hasselblad's design-centric heritage with its timeless look featuring a similar form factor, leatherette cover, and chrome edges as the original V System film magazines. The modern tilt screen of the CFV II 50C features an intuitive touch interface with swipe and pinch-to-zoom options when image browsing. A high frame rate of 60fps enables a smooth live view through the digital display.
The combination of the CFV II 50C digital back and the 907X camera body offers a truly unique photographic experience, including the classic waist-level shooting style of the V System. Enabled by the CFV II 50C's tilt screen, image composition, focusing, and review are made simple when shooting at this distinct angle. Photographers shooting on a V System camera with the CFV II 50C are given the flexibility of viewing either through the camera viewfinder or the digital back's tilt screen.
