I am obviously very pleased to have an extra battery grip for my Hasselblad 5H. As a power freak I must have extra battery power when I shoot my camera. Bought this grip at an excellent price. It was an absolutely good deal.

About Hasselblad Battery Grip Li-Ion 3200

Along with the H6D camera we have introduced a new and more powerful battery grip. The charge socket on the new battery is exactly the same as on the previous type. This means that you can use the new or old charger for both types of batteries. However, using the older charger with the new battery will result in a 50% longer charging time. The new charger used with the old battery will produce a shorter charging time.

If the new battery grip is used on older camera models (H2D, H3D, H3D-II, H4D and H4X), a new firmware is required to facilitate proper battery monitoring levels. This new firmware - version 2.3.0 - can be downloaded from our website.
