It is designed to trigger a Hasselblad CFV-50c digital back when used in conjunction with select cameras that do not support cable-free operation. The cable is 6" long when coiled and 10.5" long with strectched. The sub-mini connector attaches to the flash sync input on digital back and a PC sync connector is at the other end to attach to the lens in order to provide accurate triggering between the camera, lens, and back. "
