Nursianto S : Is this adapter ready for now ?RICHARD O : Well, I'm not sure what you mean 'ready for now'. But if you mean does it work right out of the box?, Yes. I had bought a used one from a guy in Europe and it worked kind of haphazardly, like it would work maybe 1 out of 5 times if I really kept pulling on the shutter cock. I didn't like this so I sent it back and bought a new one from ADorama and it worked as it should have, ...everytime. And so far, no problems with it. They guarantee it for a year so they must have built it to take it and so far it has. When I cock it, I have to use a strong and positive stroke but I think it's designed that way because it still works after 500 or 1000 strokes by now. So... while it's not cheap, it does what it's supposed to do and I use it with a set of about 5 Hassie lenses all the way up to their 500mm giant lens. It works great! Not an autofocus, mind you but the H3DII body I have will give feedback when you are correctly focused on the middle window. Good investment! richo214
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?RICHARD O : Choosing this item is a no brainer because now I have a complete Hasselblad lens system, albeit sans auto-focus and no speed shooting. But I inevitably still can shoot extremely wide angle or very long telefoto with high quality medium format Hasselblad lenses at a very reasonable cost. Unbelievable!

About Hasselblad H System CF Lens Adapter, V-system Lenses to H-system Camera Bodies

The CF adapter allows all lenses from the V-system to be used on H-system camera bodies. This automatically expands the potential lens range for H cameras by more than a dozen different focal lengths.

This is a truly useful accessory for professional photographers who need occasional access to specific lenses not used in their everyday work.

The automatic focusing system in the H camera can be used as a guide for manual focus setting. Light is measured at full aperture with all lenses which produces aperture and shutter speed information display in the camera for manual setting.

With CFE lenses, however, a preset aperture is automatically transferred to the camera. Shutter cocking is manual with all lenses and is swiftly carried out by an easily accessible lever.
