The Hitech 4 x 4 inch Graduated 0.3 Neutral Density 1 Stop Hard Edge Filter is clear in the bottom half with a gradual transition to the ND effect in the top half of the filter. It produces a grey neutral tone and is used to reduce light, enabling more control over exposure and depth of field without affecting color or contrast. Neutral Density graduated filter is primarily used for light reduction in skylines or landscape shots. Hard Edge Filter have a more defined hard lined transition and should be used for longer lenses.
