Laptop arrived in perfect condition just as described. I have not had any issues with it over the month i have been using it for school. I love all the gestures for the trackpad.

I use this laptop for basic necessities like school, surfing the web, streaming etc., the only downside to this is the constant glitching when I stream videos. This problem is very frequent, I'm not sure if it will be getting worse as time goes by (hope it does not), but so far that's my only complain.

Nice laptop (notebook). No issues so far. Is pretty fast with SSD, much quicker than any HDD I've ever used. Nice display. Touch screen. I did a fair amount of research and I think for the price range it's the best out there right now.Adorama had the best price at the time of my purchase. Shipping was prompt.

I love this laptop. It is stylish, lightweight and very fast. It has a very nice display and the speakers are above average. The only con is that the fan comes on quite frequently but the fan noise is negligible.

My review is a basic user viewpoint. Overall I'm pretty happy with this Huawei laptop. As for why...SSD hard drive means amazingly fast start-ups; WiFi connection is solid & quick. I don't recall any bloatware to have to deal with. As best I can tell, doing a side-by-side with Apple gear, it has the same keyboard, which is a very good thing--it is a pleasure to type on. The screen is glossy & liquid & Netflix, et al, look good. It also has a touch screen which responds well. And the hinge is robust & requires a bit of muscle to lift/close--nice. The audio is also remarkable for a laptop. Windows 10 is no Win 7 Pro, but hasn't been a painful adjustment. Battery life for my usage, always with WiFi on, averages 6 hours. The body also takes inspiration from Apple & appears to aluminium.If I'm picking nits, there's no SD card slot--it's a slim body, but not so svelte to excuse missing this feature. And the superb keyboard lacks dedicated PAGE UP/DOWN & HOME keys.

4 stars because of caveats. Frowny face: No SD Card slot. Windows 10 OS. No dedicated PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN, HOME, END keys. Decent, but not great battery life. Huawei operator's guide via downloaded PDF is a little skimpy. Smiley face: One of the best keyboards I've ever used--a pure joy to type on. Super duper quick boot time, thanks to SSD. Audio is surprisingly good. Screen is also very nice. HDMI port. Superb WiFi connection compared to my old Acer laptop. Pretty fast recharge time. Note: For HOME key, press Fn + Left Arrow. For END key, press Fn + Right arrow. For PAGE UP, press Fn + UP arrow; for PAGE DOWN, press Fn + DOWN arrow. Note: To use an SD or other media card(s), you'll have to buy an adapter that terminates to USB. Conclusion: Money well spent. The keyboard is as comfortable as any Apple laptop. The screen is vivid, liquid, & has a very wide viewing angle. Audio emanates from above & below &, for a laptop, is more than adequate. Win 10 Home is no upgrade from Win 7 Pro; if anything, it's counterintuitive & intrusive--way too much nagging & nattering from Cortana. Finally, using WiFi I've been getting nearly 6 hours from a charge--not too shabby.

If you're looking for a portable laptop that's both affordable and doesn't skimp on the specs, look no further. I know many here in the US aren't familiar with Huawei, but they're not a cheap knock off brand. This is a quality laptop for this price bracket. You're getting a nice IPS TOUCH screen, yet it is a touch screen, speedy SSD and 8 gigs of ram, which is an acceptable amount of RAM for practically anyone not doing heavy content creation. The build quality is great. The thin, smooth alloy chasis, slim bezel screen are visually appealing and the hinge was nice and sturdy. Touch screen is responsive and really does make it easier to navigate through the OS. I was very impressed overall with the quality. Under the hood, you have a 4 core, 8 thread CPU in the Ryzen 2500U from AMD. It's a solid performer, especially in multi-threaded applications. The Vega iGPU is built into the processor, it's not a discreet chip but definitely stronger than the intel iGPUs so you can do some light gaming at 720p with lower quality, but i wouldn't consider this a gaming laptop. overall, this is a great buy at the $ I paid for it.
