A 6-megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor captures 6MP still photos and high-definition video at up to 30 frames per second, aided by a 360-degree panoramic lens, great night-vision capability, and digital noise reduction to get the best possible results. The camera can capture a subject up to 15 meters away in total darkness thanks to smart-IR programming and low-noise image processing, and it can also compensate for changing light conditions, such as full sun exposure, or placement near a large overhead or sliding door. Other smart functions include facial detection, traffic tracking and counting, a VeriFocus motorized lens, and support for up to 3 simultaneous streams.
The camera's housing isn't weatherproof, but the sensors in it will alert its owner if anything goes wrong (like tampering/accidental impacts or moisture issues). It also has security features like user authentication, IP address filtering, and anonymous access.
