Hikvision, a brand known for producing quality cameras and surveillance components, has done it again with this indoor dome-style unit. Featuring a whole host of smart functions and helpful interface points, as well as security features and connectivity aids, this camera will help you keep a closer eye on what's important to you.
The high-resolution imaging starts with a 5-megapixel progressive-scan CMOS sensor, allowing the camera to take 5MP stills and full-HD 1080p video footage. The lens contributes to the camera's capability with motorized VeriFocus and a 92-degree field of view, plus a zoom range of 3.5mm to 9mm that narrows the FOV angle to 36 degrees. For angle adjustment, the camera can pan 360 degrees, tilt from zero to 75 degrees, and rotate a full 360 degrees, giving it a bird's-eye vantage wherever you install it. The unit also supports dual streaming, and manual controls for saturation, brightness, contrast, and resolution & frame rate of video capture.
In addition to being a fully-capable camera, this unit is housed in an IK10-rated dome to make it less susceptible to vandals or accidental impacts. It's suitable for protected outdoor installation, such as in a garage or on a covered porch, although Hikvision has dedicated it for indoor use.
