This camera's great imaging capabilities are most owed to the 1/3" progressive-scan CMOS sensor, which delivers a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30fps. While that's a good start, the VeriFocus zoom lens provides the other half of the package with a zoom range of 4.5 to 162mm and a field of view from 60 degrees down to 3.6 degrees (fully zoomed-in). The unit can pan all the way around and tilts from -20 degrees to 90.
This camera is capable of handling temperatures from -40F up to +149F as well as humidity levels up to 90%, meaning a little wind and rain is no big deal; the housing is weatherproof-rated to IP66 standards. It's also rated to IK10 for impact resistance, providing the protection you need from vandals or intruders trying to disable the camera as well as protecting it from accidental impacts and collisions with moving vehicles or equipment. All these factors come together to give you a camera that's meant to be a workhorse, providing coverage all day and night as well as through every season.
