About Hikvision DarkFighter 2MP Outdoor Dome Network Camera with 2.8-12mm Lens

Hikvision's brand reputation is totally built upon putting out quality cameras and camera accessories, and this outdoor dome-style surveillance unit is no exception to that rule. With a whole array of smart-assist functions and helpful features, it's a stellar choice for your all-season surveillance needs.

A progressive-scan CMOS sensor captures 2MP still images and full-HD 1080p video, aided by great night vision capabilities and a smart autofocus system. Other dedicated smart functions include facial recognition, motion and intrusion detection, audio disruption detection with a dynamic range of 120 decibels, and user security features.

The camera housing has a weatherproof rating of IP66, meaning it can be used year-round, even in inclement weather. An internal heater allows for operation in extremely cold or hot temperatures (the range is approximately -40 to +140 degrees Farenheit) and enables automatic defogging and defrosting. This also gives the camera the ability to deal with large fluctuations in humidity or temperature, such as being positioned near a door or entrance in a cold climate, or close to ventilation systems. The housing also has an impact-resistance rating of IK10.
