This keyboard has a solid weighty feel to it because of the aircraft aluminum base construction, which I really like, personally. I also own the HyperX Alloy Origins 65 keyboard but really missed the number pad for use in my MMO game. I use a gamepad along with my mouse and this new full sized HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard, which sits right on my monitor stand. My monitor has a base stand it sits on, on my desk so the keyboard is elevated and very easy to click keys while playing my game. My gamepad has a limited number of keybindings close together for very quick access but I still need my keyboard for the less often used keys, and many use the number pad. I also use the HyperX Pudding Keycaps to highlight the keys I use in my MMO game on my keyboard so I can identify them quickly during play. My room is always dark except for a small strip of LEDs used as a backlight behind the monitor, which I prefer since my 34" widescreen curved 1440p QD OLED monitor looks the best that way, especially while gaming. So, as my titled says, the HyperX Alloy Origins full sized keyboard fits my needs perfectly. The RGB lighting lights up the keys and makes the Puddy Cap keys stand out even more. My only negative about this keyboard, and my HyperX Alloy Origins 65, is that neither can use the Ngenuity software to control the RGB lighting -- I'm left with the rainbow mode and no way to change it to the pale blue static color I prefer. But I knew that would be the case before I bought the full sized Alloy Origins. It wasn't that important. The look and feel and function of the keyboard was far more important to me. And I really like using the Puddy Caps to make certain keys stand out. I'm very happy with this keyboard. Oh, mine has the red key switches should anyone wish to know.

Brilliantly Compact
The HyperX Alloy Origins 65 is a balanced keyboard which blends compactness and functionality, but compromises nothing. A 65% form factor makes it more compact than a tenkeyless keyboard, while still offering arrow keys. With a durable, full aluminum body, and balanced HyperX switches rated to withstand 80 million keypresses, it's as reliable as it is compact. The stock double shot PBT keycaps have the keys' secondary functions printed on them so you can quickly locate any additional functionality you need. Let your style shine bright with the HyperX switches' exposed LED design, and stunning lighting effects. Further customize your keyboard with macros, personalized lighting profiles, and more with HyperX NGENUITY software.
