These have decent sound quality and they're not all that comfortable. Recording quality is decent for live streaming.

Good for the price

I was really looking forward to trying out the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core wireless gaming headset, but unfortunately, it's been a letdown.

Firstly, the sound quality is just average. The bass is lacking, and the highs can be ear-piercingly sharp. I've used better-sounding headsets in this price range.

The wireless connectivity has been spotty, with frequent disconnections and interference. I've had to restart the headset multiple times during gaming sessions, which is frustrating.

The build quality feels cheap, with flimsy plastic and a headband that's already showing signs of wear. The ear cups are also quite small, which can be uncomfortable for longer gaming sessions.

Battery life is another issue - I've gotten around 10-12 hours of use, which is below the advertised 17 hours.

But the biggest disappointment is that it's NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MOBILE DEVICES. I was expecting to be able to use this headset with my phone or tablet, but unfortunately, it's only compatible with PC and console.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile wireless gaming headset. There are better options available in this price range.

Disappointing Experience with HyperX Cloud Stinger Core

They're great at sound cancelling, easy to control volume, and are comfortable. The only annoying thing (big thing for me) is that you need the USB plugged in to use it, and aren't able to switch to TV volume while it's plugged into your device (ps5, laptop) so you need to be unplugging it all the time but other then that it's great

Number 1 mic

It's good it's made for pc and I use it for Xbox and i have dropped it a couple times and it still works the exact same great product but it does glitch out some time for like 2 seconds

Fantastic headphones although not as comfortable as the wired kind they are more tight fitting ensuring they don't slip off.

This headset has some minor improvements with one of the key points being the material used for the ear cups which I really liked especially for someone who sweats a lot the older versions of this headset always got destroyed easier these so far have been phenomenal and no static issues. I will note there isn't a line of colorways to choose from but if you have a PS5 this will look nice with it being that it's white colored.

Battery life is very short. Not as advertised. Otherwise, I love the headset.

Very comfortable headset, volume is clear and quality is amazing. The controls are easy to use and very smooth. Honestly the best headset I've ever owned

Comfy and Quality

Both sets of head phones, when you hit the switch to turn the mic on the mic stays on. It's especially annoying when I'm playing a game with random people. They're also no where near as comfy as the original hyperx headsets I had. I'm pretty disappointed. I reached out and emailed hyperx and I never got a response also.

Hyperx has great headsets BUT these are not the ones

Had this for a month, fell off my desk once, which isn't that high, and has a carpet below it. Stopped working completely afterwards, worst headset I've ever used.

Incredibly fragile

I bought this a week or so ago and finally came in just to not work with my xbox series s even though they said it works with xbox one and xbox series x/s in the replys

I know it is a starting headset, but it has a terrible sound quality. Aluminum bends easily if not care. On the other hand, the foam isolation is much better than the leatherette. Sound isolation is pretty good too. Microphone is regular.

Great sound and mic / comfortable as well

I'm an infrequent headset user and only use these maybe 10-12 hours total per month. Both audio and voice quality are very good for an inexpensive set up. For my needs this headset is perfect although I will say that for sessions I wear them for much more then an hour at a time they get a little warm on my ears. Not crazy like making my ears sweat, just noticeable.

Good headset for the price

The headphones are quite nice. Although, the overall build quality is kind of weak. It?s a bit flimsy and can be broken if not careful. The material around the ears can be a little itchy. The audio quality and mic are exceptional, however.

Overall Experience

I like the sound, it is very good, but the problem is that the headphones are heavy, uncomfortable for me. I was about to send them back, but I am going to give them away to see if they work for other person. Unfortunately they did not work for me.

Size does matter

The HyperX Cloud Stinger Core makes for a good affordable gaming headset. The sound quality is acceptable. The quality of the plastic seems rather cheap and the headset is a bit flimsy, but the comfort makes up for it.
