This filter works great for what it is. I should have bought a more powerful one for what I'm trying to do, but that is my fault

I use ND filtrs to help control highlights on my digital camera. It is great for outdoors and however indoors on f4 type lens not so good because you will have lower shuitter speeds and higher iso's, however if you have a f 1.8 or f2.8 then really no problem as far as i can tell.

Allows for slower shutter speeds when blurring or showing of movement is desired.
Allows balancing of exposure to highlight a key subject.
Lets you use higher speed films in bright light.
Hoya Neutral Density filters are available in most sizes and in three strengths:
.3 (2X) Reduces the light one f-stop.
.6 (4X) Reduces the light two f-stops.
.9 (8X) Reduces the light three f-stops.
