Neutral Density filters evenly reduce the amount of light passing thru the lens without effecting color.  Ideal for reducing bright light in large aperature situations when a narrow depth is field is needed.  Allows for slower shutter speeds when blurring or showing of movement is desired.  Allows balancing of exposure to highlight a key subject.  Lets you use higher speed films in bright light.  Hoya Neutral Density filters are available in most sizes and in three strengths:  .3 (2x) Reduces the light one f-stop.  .6 (4x) Reduces the light two f-stops. .9 (8x) Reduces the light three f-stops.

Seems to be of good quality for the money.  I have used it once as I just got it but what I used it for was to photograph Football players posed with flash in bright sun and it enabled me to lower my sync speed to 1/200 at F4.  Camera (Nikon d750 with 70-200 2.8 lens) had no problem auto focusing.  In post production no change in sharpness or color.

GREAT ND FILTER FOR MEKE LENSE

Wasn?t aware of brand recognition at first but I must say this is a GREAT tool Esp combing a circular polorizer on a drone. This size fits the x5-x5r-X5s. I have it on the latter but they are all the same Lumix I mean DJI 15mm stock lens.

Great ND filter for general use

Wow, I love filter! My camera shutter speed is maxed out at 4,000 and this filter not only gives me high quality images with no distortion or weird colors but it also brings down my shutter speed from 4,000 to around 320 @ 4.0 in the middle of the afternoon on a very bright day with no exposure compensation.
