I bought these to try some up close macro work, I didn't have money for a new macro lens. So I tried these, They perform as said, I can now focus with my lens as close as 4 or 5 inches. My lens has a macro setting but the closest it use to be able to focus was 1.3 ft.

Hoya is a good quality name. I'm new to the macro, close-up world and it is a great deal with each lens or in combination.

Available in +1, +2, and +4 diopters for close-up photography. Close-up lenses are high-quality optical magnifying lenses which shorten the close-focusing distance of the lens. It allows the lens to go closer to the subject than before and to achieve a larger image scale.
Use lenses individually or in combination for maximum effect
Depth-of-field is shallow so use as small an aperture as possible,
