DS1 - GH4 w/ 12mm Olympus LOVE each other
Ikan did a balance video that was helpful for starters. I had to watch another user's video to get more detail about the balance process. I also figured out that I needed to sue the extra plate to get my balance and weight correct for the DS1.
I spent an hour learning to balance my GH4 with the 12mm prime lens. I was forewarned about the gimbal listing to one side and making her image not level. I was able to check the balance thoroughly to keep that from occurring.
Once I was happy with the balance I spent about 15 minutes learning the different modes and how to turn the handle upside down. I felt ready for a real shoot.
I am happy I also got the IKan handle for the gimbal. It makes setting and feeling secure about the gimbal being on a table. I rebalanced my camera on set in about 5 minutes. I
used the Panasonic Image APP to make picture adjustments before using the gimbal. This saves me from having to touch the camera controls and growing the gimbal out of balance.
As a 50+YO female I was concerned about the weight of th DS1 and the GH4 together. I am able to use it for specialty shots without fatiguing my arms. It takes some practice to get the pan tilt but it works nicely when I need it.
The footage was dreamy. It was easy and quick to pull the camera on and off the gimbal for other shots. I am happy I have this in my kit. It is making me rethink some of my compositions for other projects.

Doesn't support my 3.5lb rig
Unfortunately it wasn't supporting my compact 3.5lb A7sII setup with proper balancing. I'm returning for the bigger version. It did support lighter weights very well and is a great tool.

Works Very Well
I bought it because it would work with my Panasonic GH4 because of the weight capacity. It was easier to balance than I thought it would be and easy to use. As with many items like these I always read pros and cons. I watched reviews on the Web along with current owners who expressed their good and bad points. This one seemed to be the best at this price point. So far, I am very pleased with it and hope it adds to my video productions.

Durable, reliable, easy to balance
After using 2 OSMO's I finally gave up on DJI products as being completely unreliable. I now have a gimbal that can be used with the camera of my choice. No longer do I have to be concerned about files being corrupt or not loading/playing.

Great for weddings and corp work
Love the compact size, easy set up and short learning curve. We did run into some issues using a Nikon D750 and could not completely balance it due to the mass/weight distribution (it only allows you to adjust the stage within a certain limited range making it more ideal for mirrrorless vs dslrs). I would like to see a slightly larger model, a rougher texture for the grip, longer battery life and the ability to turn the on/off sound down or off.
