The tripod worked exactly as expected. It provided a very stable base for my XF605 and tripod. It was easy to set up and use and is made of quality material. Does not feel cheap or light.

Tripods are certainly not the most exciting purchase, but spending that bit extra to get one that both suites your needs AND allows you to grow into it is totally worth it. Not only is it smoother than cheaper tripods, it can support more weight, has a counterbalance, ball head, and single-lock legs. And while it doesn't have adjustable resistance, the default level work great for pretty much anything. Even shooting with my macro lens stays smooth and stable. All these things make it both easier and faster to get the shot setup; saving both time and stress. The extra carrying capacity over cheaper tripods also gives confidence that even as you add to your rig, this tripod will keep up. The single-lock for both leg sections is a game change. I wouldn't want to go back to a tripod without it. It's so much faster to adjust and level than a normal tripod, even another ball-head tripod. The spiked feet grip great, and the rubber ones have tons of traction, and only take a second or two to attach or remove. There's also a convenient retractable hook system that can tie the legs together for transport, which I'm sure has saved me a few pinched fingers already. The handle is good, though nothing special, and I do have to tighten the adjustment at the base of the handle pretty firmly to ensure it doesn't slip, but that's about the only fault I can really think of. While there are higher end tripods, or ones with more features, I think Ikan managed to nail the features. This is a tripod that can last you for a decade, maybe more. At the end of the day, any time I'm running a setup bigger than this tripod is comfortable with, I'm probably also renting a tripod to go with.

This tripod was exactly what we were look for. it was exactly as they described it and it works great with our jib. The price was the best i found after shopping around. i also find Adorama easy to work with.

A wonderful tripod that really gives you a lot of pro features for the price. The fluid head is excellent. Does not give you drag options but is very well made. You do have a built in counter balance which helps with heavies camera builds. The single leg lock system is very handy. The bowl head works perfectly for finite adjustments. Because of the wide spreader, flat feet, and two mounting screws on the camera plate this tripod can easily handle a 4 foot slider. Add two Konovo brace arms and you have a rock solid slide to either end of your slider even with a heavy lens. Awesome!

A little heavy,but I know this is not a tripod for run and gun. Very stable and a great tool for on set.
