I purchased this mount to hold an Atomos Ninja Flame monitor (which weighs in at 2.3 lb. with batteries and hard drive). Tightening the lock enough to hold the monitor stable causes the snap rings to pop out and the ball joints to fall off, thus causing your equipment to fall. It is a nice lightweight and versatile mount, just don't trust it with heavier or expensive equipment. I will personally be returning and replacing the mount with something a little more durable.
