The kit includes the Tilta Battery Plate for Sony Venice, available in both gold mount and V-mount versions, which integrates seamlessly with the top plate through a pin connection. The top plate of this camera cage can be directly attached to the base camera. However, for those using the AXS-R7 recorder, an extension to the top plate is provided. This extension allows the top of the cage to span across the camera and recorder, extending to the back of the battery plate. Additionally, it offers an extra P-tap port for added convenience.

The top plate also boasts a built-in 3-pin cable that, when connected to the Venice's top 3-pin port, transmits R/S functionality to all of the cage's 3-pin R/S ports. This feature allows for the Venice's EVF to be mounted off the top plate by attaching to the 15mm LWS rods that can be inserted at the front of the top plate.

The top handle of this camera cage kit is designed for easy sliding on and off the top plate, making it ideal for adapting the camera for Steadicam and gimbal setups. Optional top handle extensions can be attached to provide a handle that hangs over the back of the battery plate for precise operating.

The baseplate of this camera cage kit features a built-in shoulder pad and is compatible with Tilta-standard dovetails. For those preferring Arri-standard dovetails, an optional Tilta-standard to Arri-standard baseplate can be attached. Please note, the actual package may vary from the photo.
