Tilta Camera Cage for Sony Venice, Gold Mount

When it comes to safeguarding your Sony Venice camera, the Tilta camera cage offers unparalleled protection and versatility. The cage is thoughtfully designed with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points, allowing for the seamless attachment of various accessories. Enhancing its versatility, the Tilta Battery Plate for Sony Venice, available in either gold mount or V-mount, integrates seamlessly with the top plate via a pin connection. This innovative feature provides numerous power outputs, enabling you to power your accessories from virtually any point on the cage.

The top plate of this camera cage can be securely attached to the base camera. However, for those using the AXS-R7 recorder, the cage includes an extension to the top plate. This extension allows the top of the cage to span across the camera and recorder, extending to the back of the battery plate. Additionally, this extension piece offers an extra P-tap port for added convenience.

The top plate also boasts a built-in 3-pin cable that, when connected to the Venice's top 3-pin port, transmits R/S functionality to all of the cage's 3-pin R/S ports. For those using the Venice's EVF, it can be mounted off the top plate by attaching to the 15mm LWS rods that can be inserted at the front of the top plate.

The top handle of this camera cage is designed for easy sliding on and off the top plate, making it ideal for adapting the camera for Steadicam and gimbal setups. Optional top handle extensions can be attached to provide a handle that hangs over the back of the battery plate, ensuring precise operation.

The baseplate of the Tilta camera cage features a built-in shoulder pad and is compatible with Tilta-standard dovetails. For added flexibility, an optional Tilta-standard to Arri-standard baseplate can be attached, allowing you to use Arri-standard dovetails. Please note that the actual package may vary from the photo.
