Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony Venice 2 V-Mount

A versatile and robust solution for enhancing the functionality of your Sony Venice Camera Body, the Full Camera Cage for Sony Venice 2 is expertly designed to meet the demands of professional filmmakers. Constructed from high-quality, CNC-milled aluminum alloy, this camera cage offers superior protection and a plethora of mounting options for your essential accessories.

The cage is engineered to support a wide range of accessories through its Cold Shoe, NATO Rail, and multiple threaded options, including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins. This ensures seamless integration with various equipment, enhancing your shooting capabilities.

A standout feature of this camera cage is the updated Battery Plate, available in both Gold Mount and V-mount configurations. It integrates seamlessly with the Top Plate via an external cable, ensuring reliable power and communication to the cage's ports. This cable is designed to accommodate the larger size of the external recording module, which can be attached to the rear of the camera, significantly expanding your options for powering accessories and wirelessly triggering the camera.

The Top Plate is equipped with a built-in communication cable, offering Run Stop functionality to all 3-Pin Fischer R/S ports, a feature carried over from our previous Venice System. Additionally, the Venice's EVF can be mounted to the Top Plate using 15mm LWS rods, which can be securely fastened near the front of the plate.

The Top Handle is designed for flexibility, featuring an adjustable mechanism that allows it to slide easily on and off the Top Plate. It is compatible with the Venice's Original Top Handle, providing a convenient solution for adjusting the camera's balance after a lens change or when adapting the camera for Steadicam or Gimbal setups. An optional Top Handle Extension can be added, wrapping around the Battery Plate to offer additional mounting options and unique operational angles, especially for lower-angle shots.

The Baseplate is equipped with a built-in shoulder pad and is natively compatible with Tilta-Standard Dovetails. For added versatility, an optional Tilta Standard to ARRI Standard Multi-Functional Baseplate can be used to adapt the cage for mounting onto an ARRI Standard Dovetail.

This camera cage is compatible with both the Sony Venice and Sony Venice 2, making it a reliable and adaptable choice for filmmakers.
