The plate is engineered with strategically positioned threads to align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens, ensuring precise vertical lens alignment. Additionally, the Side Plate supports external recording through an integrated SSD Mount, which is compatible with hard drives measuring 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick. This feature, along with multiple 1/4"-20 threads, allows for the attachment of various accessories, including smartphone clamps for livestream setups.

Both the Top and Bottom Plates are thoughtfully designed to avoid obstructing the camera's heat dissipation vents, maintaining optimal cooling performance. The Top Plate is compatible with the PYXIS native top handle and includes a detachable 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapter, offering the flexibility to choose different top handles for varied setup sizes. The included Xeno Top Handle connects via NATO Rail, enhancing handling and operational versatility with its elegant design and increased clearance. It features multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver, ideal for attaching an external monitor.

The kit also includes the Xeno Side Handle, which can be mounted on either side of the cage using a NATO connection. With an adjustable height of 40mm, it allows users to customize the handle position for improved comfort during handheld shooting. The non-slip silicone grip ensures stability and confidence, while additional mounting points, such as a Cold Shoe Receiver and a 1/4"-20 thread with locating points, provide further expansion options.
