The innovative Side Plate supports seamless transitions to vertical setups, doubling as a bottom plate when mounted vertically. This configuration offers ample space between rods and the lens, accommodating most accessories with ease. The plate is engineered with precisely positioned threads to align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens, ensuring perfect vertical lens alignment. Additionally, the Side Plate supports external recording via an integrated SSD Mount, featuring multiple 1/4"-20 threads for attaching various accessories. The SSD Mount is compatible with hard drives measuring 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick.

Both the Top and Bottom Plates are crafted to avoid obstructing the camera's heat dissipation vents, maintaining optimal cooling performance. The Top Plate is compatible with the PYXIS native top handle and includes a detachable 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapter, allowing for the use of different top handles to suit various setups.
