This meticulously designed camera cage offers robust protective armor for your camera body while significantly enhancing its functionality through a modular design. It provides a wide array of mounting options, including NATO Rail, ARRI Rosette, Cold Shoe, and both 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with locating points, ensuring you have the flexibility to attach a variety of accessories.The innovative Side Plate supports seamless transitions to vertical setups, doubling as a bottom plate when mounted vertically. This configuration offers ample space between rods and the lens, accommodating most accessories with ease. The plate is engineered with precisely positioned threads to align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens, ensuring perfect vertical lens alignment. Additionally, the Side Plate supports external recording via an integrated SSD Mount, featuring multiple 1/4"-20 threads for attaching various accessories. The SSD Mount is compatible with hard drives measuring 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick.Both the Top and Bottom Plates are crafted to avoid obstructing the camera's heat dissipation vents, maintaining optimal cooling performance. The Top Plate is compatible with the PYXIS native top handle and includes a detachable 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapter, allowing for the use of different top handles to suit various setups. The included Xeno Top Handle connects to the Top Plate via NATO Rail, enhancing handling and operational flexibility with its elegant design and increased clearance. This handle also provides multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver, ideal for attaching an external monitor.The kit includes a 15mm LWS Baseplate and two 15mm Rods, enabling the attachment of rod-based accessories such as matte boxes or follow focus systems. The Baseplate features a Tilta Standard Dovetail Receiver, adaptable to ARRI Standard Dovetails with the optional Tilta Standard to ARRI Standard Multi-Functional Baseplate. The Battery Plate securely mounts into the battery compartment of the PYXIS camera, providing power and additional security via a thumbscrew to the Top Plate. It offers multiple output options, including 2x 14.8V P-Tap ports, 1x 14.8V 2 Pin Lemo Port, 1x USB-C Port, and a DC Power Input Port.This custom-designed cage for the PYXIS body includes five modular parts: Side Plate, Top Plate, Left Side Arm, Right Side Arm, and Bottom Plate. Each component can be used independently, offering extensive rigging and expansion options for flexible shooting. The versatile compatibility and extensive expansion options make this kit an indispensable tool for any filmmaker looking to maximize their camera's potential.
