Gimbal is great but watch the batteries

The gimbal is great. That said, beware of the Lithium Ion batteries. I bought my second FLY X3-Plus in July 2020 because I liked the first one so much and I wanted a backup. It arrived with two batteries, one dated 2015 and the other dated 2018. When I plugged the 2015 battery into the charger, it got so hot you could smell hot plastic and the charger was hot as well. The 2018 battery held a charge, but the LED status indicators didn’t light up. Great gimbal, but don't leave the batteries unattended until you know they're good. Send it back immediately or at least be sure your home/fire insurance it paid up if Adorama sends you 5 year-old Lithium Ion batteries.

A great gimbal for my iPhone and GoPro.

Easy to set up, allows me to shoot very smooth video and the case is great. I first used the FLY-X3-Plus to record going down a series of steps to the beach. The video was smooth--as if I was flying when I shot the video!
