With the NiSi S6 150mm Filter Holder Kit with Landscape NC CPL, you can elevate your landscape photography to professional levels. This high-quality kit is specifically designed for photographers seeking to combine an ultra-wide-angle lens with a versatile filter system that supports multiple filters. The S6 kit is a reliable solution for using an integrated Landscape CPL and two 150mm wide filters (2mm thick), offering 360 degrees of rotation for the CPL. This ensures maximum flexibility and precision in controlling reflections and glare. The kit is crafted to ensure no vignetting, providing clear, high-quality images every time. One of the standout features of the S6 kit is its new locking system, designed to secure the main filter holder in position. The integrated wheel can be easily rotated to lock the holder in place, providing a user-friendly experience that feels natural and intuitive. To combat potential issues of ghosting and flare due to the wide focal length and the large amount of light entering from the bulb head, the S6 main adapter employs the same matting treatment as high-end lens hoods. This ensures optimal image quality even in challenging lighting conditions. The included NiSi S6 Landscape NC CPL for the S6 150mm Holder is an ultra HD polarizer, crafted using Nitto polarizing film. This professional-grade polarizer effectively eliminates reflections and glare, while enhancing the saturation of the scene. It provides a more uniform polarization, maintains a more neutral color balance, and offers superior haze reduction effects. The holder's geared design allows the integrated CPL to be rotated while using 150mm filters, thanks to two gears located on the rear of the holder. This feature, inspired by our leading 100mm holders, ensures quick installation and removal without the need to remove the lens from the camera. The front of the holder, with clips holding the 150mm filters, can be rapidly removed to facilitate focus and easy replacement or removal of the filters. Based on user feedback, the S6 boasts several design improvements over the S5, including a refined front filter holder design for easier ND filter insertion and removal, a new integrated locking system, and an updated matting treatment on the inside of the adapter to reduce reflection, ghosting, and flare. The rear locking ring now features an oxidized silver finish for an improved aesthetic appeal. The S6 kit also includes a new compact case for storing and protecting the kit, as well as a lens cap to safeguard the CPL. This comprehensive, durable, and versatile kit is an essential tool for any serious landscape photographer.
