Compared to the F version adapter kits, this is awesome. Really extends the usefulness of the lens and requires very little space to add it to my bag when headed out.

Overall this item does its job well and as described! It?s nice to be able to expand the use range of my square filter kit. In my experience the silver rotating collar can get cross threaded, so i had to snap it back into place to get it to clamp down on the lens hood again.

It's pretty sturdy, but I have a couple of other issues with it. One, it mounts to the lens using a screw that has already left a small scratch, and it will only continue to scratch it up with continued use. That's not that big of a deal though because all my equipment gets scratched up over time and this does not affect functionality. My other issue is that the Tiffen Pro Mist 4x4 filters do not fit in it. It says they can fit a filter up to 2mm thick, and my Tiffen filters are roughly 2mm thick. I loosened the 6 small screws on the mount and was able to fit my filters on there but it feels flimsy. It's working for now but we'll see for how long. That being said, my Nisi ND filters fit great. This review is asking for my recommendation and it only allows me to answer yes or no. My answer is yes if you have thin filters, no if you have thick filters.
