You can elevate your long exposure photography to new heights with the NiSi Filters 100mm ND Long Exposure Kit (NIP-100-LE-KIT). This comprehensive kit features three 100x100mm IR Neutral Density Filters: ND8 (3-Stop), ND64 (6-Stop), and ND1000 (10-Stop). These high-quality, professional-grade filters are designed to uniformly reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens, enabling greater motion blurring and image detail. The ND8 3-Stop filter is perfect for capturing the mesmerizing flow of waterfalls at shutter speeds from 0.5 to 2 seconds. For those magical golden hour shots, the ND64 6-Stop filter allows for smooth 1-2 minute exposures of water or clouds, while still retaining some texture. And for bright, ambient daylight outside the golden hour, the ND1000 10-Stop filter effectively blocks excess light, enabling prolonged exposures of up to 5 minutes with the right settings.Each filter in this versatile kit is 2mm thick and crafted from high-quality optical glass, not resin, ensuring durability and effectiveness. They feature a nano coating to prevent any loss of detail, and unlike some other ND filters, NiSi's filters introduce no color cast, offering true-to-life color in your images. The kit also includes a soft filter pouch that can hold four 100x100mm filters or four circular filters up to 95mm, a cleaning cloth, and four replacement foam gaskets. Additionally, NiSi ND filters come with an infrared protection coating layer to eliminate infrared light through the lens, preventing unwanted red coloration in your photos when shooting at a small aperture. I have used other ND filters and have been disappointed by a strong color cast, which I was unable to correct with software. The NISI filters introduce NO color cast. I took my three filters to a nearby waterfall, locked the camera to a tripod and shot a photo with no filter, with the 3-stop NISI, the 6-stop NISI and the 10-stop NISI. Once I harmonized the exposure level in each photo file, there was no difference in color. That is amazing! The 100mm NISI filters work just fine in the bracket that I got with the ND filters that I retired.
