Very good item

Overall, this did the job. The beam splitter glass worked well and the tablet holder was large enough for my Surface Pro 7. HOWEVER, had some major issues assembling this. For starters, the rail mount for the beam splitter glass wouldn't tighten down so secure to the provided 15mm rails to I had to improvise with some clamps. The camera mount is pretty durable-feeling, but the tablet mount has a lot of plastic pieces and took additional washers (not provided) to tighten down properly. Also, two essential screws for securing the tablet mount to the beam splitter glass mount were missing from my kit and I had to use screws I had on hand. Utlimately, in order for this to be functional I had to dig through my equipment room for extra parts.

Does the job, ultimately.

I previously had an Ikan teleprompter that used a dedicated display, and going this route with an iPad is so much easier (and lighter, and smaller case)

Set up is easy. Ikan makes quality stuff.

Solid

This product works quite well except that it is a pain to assemble and disassemble for transport. They need to make a case for it that does not require disassembly. I had to devise a case for that myself. Also the camera mount is too high to use a focusing rail system such as Redrock on a professional DSLR like a Canon 1DX Mark II.  Their customer service was completely unresponsive to my comments regarding the above two problems.
