This robust and versatile camera cage, designed by Ikan, is specifically tailored to fit the Sony a7 III and a7R III camera bodies, providing a secure and snug fit. The cage is composed of three main components: a top handle, a base, and a camera frame, all crafted from durable black anodized aluminum.The top handle of the STRATUS cage attaches directly to the front of the cage frame, offering 42 1/4-20 mounts when bare. This handle can be customized with Ikan grips or even bicycle handles for a personalized touch. A 15mm rod can be inserted into the handle's end and secured with a 1/4-20 screw through one of the many mounts. The handle also features a cold shoe mount at the front, near its connection to the frame, providing additional mounting options for your accessories.The base of the STRATUS cage is sleek and functional, equipped with mounts for two included 15mm rods and both 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting points for tripod quick release plates. The large, solid locking knobs have a kipping function for easy tightening, even when partially obstructed. The base connects to the frame with an Arca-Swiss style connection, ensuring secure and safe horizontal positioning.The camera frame of the STRATUS cage is designed to mirror the Sony a7 III-style body, featuring cutouts for easy access to buttons, dials, memory card slots, A/V inputs & outputs, and remote port access. A cutout on the cage's bottom allows for quick battery swaps without the need to unmount the cage. The cage also includes a positionable and universal cable clamp on the left side to support cables nearly anywhere on the camera's left-hand side.The STRATUS Complete Cage for Sony a7 III Series Cameras is not just a protective shell; it's a comprehensive solution for your filming needs. Its versatility and high-quality construction make it an essential tool for any Sony a7 III series camera owner.

Decent cage with plenty of options to add accessories. My only con with this cage is the tiny handle. Leaves very little space between the handle and body of the cage & it’s kinda short. Other than that it serves its purpose.
