Best focus/zoom gear ring.
Bought this and the 62.5 to 64.5 gear ring. These are very inexpensive, so I bought both with the idea that one would probably fit to replace the current rubber ring. And, the larger would fit over the current ring. I've used the 62.5 to 64.5 to replace the zoom ring on a Lumix 12-35 f2.8 on a Weebill Lab gimbal with follow focus/zoom motor. It fits and works perfect. The adjustable ring that came with the gimbal just kept falling off.

Love them way more than the ones you have to connect. Seamless and so many different ones will fit all my lenses. Still don't know why they are so cheap, great product and will get tons of use.

These rings work great
The rings work as advertised, and are a huge improvement from the adjustable ring that came with my follow-focus rig.

Excellent for Lumix s
I use some for my Lumix s series lenses (24, 50, 85) and the fit and work perfectly , I use motorized focus control, soothes is a perfect addition.

Great fit, versatile and affordable option gear up almost any lens.
Fits like a glove. Works perfectly with follow focus. Love that it's seamless! So it works on lenses that have a focus by wire system as well. As with any geared setup, the camera and lens needs to be rock solid with zero movement. And flex in the system and the gear will slip.

Great rings. Definite get them
I had the ring that cam with it which is adjustable and the extra piece that hangs out from the lens always got in the way. Getting these that fit right onto the lens with no extra is amazing. Love them so far!

Measure your focus ring don?t go by the lens cap
These rings are phenomenal. I found they work specially better with lenses with minimal tension on the focus but if your follow focus is powerful enough they will hold. One thing to note is that you have to actually measure the circumference of the focus area and not go by the lens size, for example: my 50mm Sony 1.8 lens uses a 49mm cap but the body and focus ring is really more in the 60mm. Make sure you measure ?? and you?ll be just fine. They can also be easily cut, so you technically have two focus rings of you need a second. Great product and very affordable price.

Wonderful product! Love these nice thin gears for use as zoom gears on my photo lenses (used primarily for shooting video). They’re durable, easy to install, and sharp looking.

Good, ring skips though when stretched out too far
It works well enough, my one big gripe that once you stretch it out over your camera lens, the ring’s teeth change distance ever so slightly, so that when you are turning the follow focus knob, every rotation or so, it will skip a tooth. It pushes the camera lens sideways ever so slightly whenever it skips, which depending on how tightly you’re zoomed it, could be noticeable. I think making the ring thicker could have solved this problem. Also I have a 53-55mm ring stretched over a 55mm lens. Perhaps if you have a 53 or even 54mm lens, you won’t have this problem. Good idea for a product, but unfortunately, this one doesn’t work exactly how I’d like it to.

Great Addition to Still lenses
Fantastic addition to still lenses for a cine upgrade. This one fit perfectly on my Sigma 18-35. Snug fit, doesn’t slip, and works with my follow focus. Great price as well.

This ring saved a classic lens from the trash can.
In medicine they call this "off-label usage". I have an old Topcor lens with a badly deteriorated rubber focus ring. The ring is glued down, so I cannot remove and replace it without destroying the lens. While looking for focus rings, I came across the Tilta gear rings. I simply measured the diameter of my existing ring, and ordered the nearest Tilta ring. It was very easy to slide it on, and it grips firmly. The width is exactly correct, too. The gear teeth are very distinctive so it is easier than ever to feel the ring as I concentrate of focusing. It may not look 'good as new', but I saved a great lens from the garbage can.
