Great Cage

Love this cage. I was using an 8sinn cage with my bmpcc4k but this tilta cage really gives the camera a better feel. My only knock on the cage is that the side handle only goes on the left side which i wish it was able to go on the right. Other than that this cage is basically perfect.

a solid, quality cage option for the BMPCCC 4K or 6K

this is a solid cage setup for the BMPCC 4K or 6K. i have this tilta cage on my 6K, and the smallrig cage on the 4K. the tilta has a cooler look aesthetically, and the included accessories in the full cage kit (SSD holder, quick-release, side handle, etc.) give me options when setting up handheld rigs or needing quick access to mounting options. so far everything is solid and i've had no problems at all. recommended!

Quality, well built product

Product itself is great. Well built, super versatile, and functions just as expected. Only downside from the order standpoint was that I ordered the Tilta full camera cage kit with the wooden side handle, and it arrived with the tactical black rubber side handle. Solid product either way.

Everything you need to start a rig

This is an excellent choice to build your rig off of. The handle, sunhood, SSD holder, USB-C 90, baseplate, and 2 - 15mm rods to start your build. Everything fits tight and it's solidly built. The finish is a beautiful gun metal gray that plays well with the camera.

About Tilta TA-T01-A

- Full Camera Cage for BMPCC 4K -
This "full" camera cage provides complete protective armor for the BMPCC 4K camera body while providing several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points as well as three cold shoe mounting points. The base of the cage also provides several mounting holes when attaching your camera to gimbals to more easily fine tune the balance of your setup.

A variety of different baseplates can be attached to the bottom of the cage, allowing for various rod mounting and optional power supply configurations. The quick release top handle and various optional side handles can be attached to the cage to provide for different ways to comfortably operate your camera setup.

- SSD Drive Holder for Samsung T5 -
The SSD drive holder attaches directly to the half and full camera cages and provides a way to attach a Samsung T5 SSD drive to your camera setup to allow you to record footage onto a separate SSD card.

- Quick Release Top Handle -
This quick release top handle easily and securely attaches to the top of the half and full Tiltaing camera cages. It provides several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points as well as one cold shoe mounting point on the front and one on the back of the handle.

- 90-Degree USB-C Cable (20cm) -
This 20cm USB-C cable was specifically designed to integrate with the Tilta BMPCC 4K camera cage. It's designed with a 90-degree connection on each end so that the cable perfectly hugs the side of the cage.

- Rubber Side Handle -
This side handle slides onto the base of the half and full Tiltaing camera cages to provide a comfortable, ergonomic way to hold and operate your camera.

- 15mm LWS baseplate -
This 15mm LWS baseplate easily slides onto the base of the Tiltaing half and full camera cages. It provides 15mm LWS rod holders to allow you attach rod-based accessories and is compatible with Tilta-standard dovetails.

- 15mm Aluminum Rod -
These rods are compatible with 15mm studio and 15mm LWS baseplates and provide a way to mount accessories to your camera rig.

- Partial Sunhood -
The partial sunhood attaches directly to the back of the BMPCC 4K half and full camera cages to provide sunshade to your camera's LCD screen when shooting in bright exterior environments.
