Take your RED Komodo camera setup to the next level with the Advanced Power Distribution Module with V-Mount Type II Battery Plate in Tactical Gray. This innovative module seamlessly adapts the dual Canon BP battery slots of your RED Komodo to a V-Mount Battery Plate, offering you the flexibility to choose between a Horizontal or Vertical V-Mount configuration.

When paired with V-Mount batteries, this power distribution module ensures full communication with your camera body. This feature allows you to monitor your remaining battery life as a percentage directly on the RED Komodo's user interface. The module accurately displays 100% battery life for any voltage over 16V and will reach 0% at 12V, aligning perfectly with the performance of most batteries.

For batteries capable of going below 12V, the module will cease powering the camera while there is still some residual life left in the battery. However, as most batteries don't typically drop much lower than 12V, the difference in operation duration should be minimal. This early battery swap can also contribute to the overall health of your battery, which is why many manufacturers opt for a 12V cutoff.

This Advanced Power Distribution Module is equipped with an integrated Komodo EXT Cable that connects to the camera body, providing full communication for expanded functions like Run Stop and Timecode via additional ports. One of these ports, a 3 Pin Fischer R/S port, enables you to trigger Run Stop and power a Nucleus M with a single cable via the optional 3 Pin Fischer Run Stop Cable.

The module comes with a comprehensive array of ports including a 14.8V P-Tap Port, 14.8V 2-Pin LEMO Port, 3 Pin Fischer R/S Port, Timecode Port, Red CTRL Port, Genlock Port, and a 5V USB Port. This wide range of ports ensures that you have all the connectivity you need for your professional photography and videography requirements.
