It also serves as a versatile platform for attaching a range of accessories, thanks to its multiple mounting points. These include a NATO Rail, a Cold Shoe Receiver, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating points.The kit also includes a XENO Top Handle, which securely mounts to the top of the cage via a 1/4"-20 thread and locating pins. This handle enhances the flexibility of shooting and handling the system, proving particularly beneficial for capturing lower angles. It also broadens the mounting options for accessories, with additional 1/4"-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver. This makes it ideal for attaching an external monitor using our Cold Shoe Accessory Bracket (sold separately).The Half Camera Cage Lightweight Kit for Canon EOS R5 C also features a Dual Directional Arca-Swiss Bottom Plate. This allows for swift transitions between compatible gimbals like the RS3 Pro and Arca-based tripods. The unique design of this plate enables the camera system to slide into an Arca Receiver from either direction, facilitating even faster transitions between compatible support systems. Please note that this cage uses DJI's standard for ARCA and may not be compatible with all receivers.The cage's design ensures multiple points of contact with the camera body, reducing the likelihood of the camera rotating within the cage. The integrated silicone padding not only keeps the camera secure within the cage but also protects contact surfaces from scratches.
