Almost a home run!! Still recommend!

This will step your gimbal game up! The infinite setup options and built in features could earn this a five star review, but.... If you leave the Ronin battery attached to the top hande, it continously drains even with the gimbal and handles powered off. If you're intention is to use an external power source, this should be a non issue. I try to keep the rig as lite as possible, so it's a bit of an inconvenience to have to remove the battery between shoots. I know, 1st world problem! Lol

Probably the best add-on for the DJI rs2

After a 9 month wait I finally received the ring. From initial impressions the quality is excellent, it really makes the DJI rs2 that much better. With plenty of accessories to add on to the ring this can really be customized to your need. I would highly recommend getting a v mount battery for your rig. I did purchase it at the initial starting price of $499 but it since has gone up a few hundred. I would still recommend it at the current price point.

The design of the Basic Ring Grip allows for further stability via multiple points of contact when operating the RS2, RS3, & RS3 Pro, while the included kickstands allow you to set the gimbal down after long takes to ensure the operator does not become fatigued.

The Basic Ring Grip includes all of the same contact points as the Advanced Ring Grip, but does not include the accessories that allow you different power options, the ability to control wireless follow focus motors or the RS2 or RS3 Pro.

The Basic Ring Grip allows you to turn the gimbal's Battery Handle into a Top Handle so you can quickly transition to low angle shots while providing additional power to your gimbal.

You can also power your gimbal via our Gold/V-Mount Battery Plates which are sold separately.

All of our optional Ring Grip Accessories are fully compatible with the Basic Ring Grip.
