The best thing i have ever bought

This screen is the best camera accessory I have ever owned. It is the perfect size, and the UI is seamless and helpful. the battery plane it good.

Would be great if all parts worked

I am a video and independent film producer and I bought this package for video shoots. When it came in the mail the handle was broken off of the case and the battery plate adapter did not match the battery. So after almost 2 weeks on the phone with the call center, them trying to figure out how to correct the issue with the warehouse I finally called the main store phone number and got things resolved in 30 minutes. Now that I have the correct battery plate I now realize that the battery charger doesn't work... so I have to call again and figure that out. OTHER THAN THAT the monitor works really great with the AC power chord, but it's tough to use that way when filming. The picture looks great with good resolution combined with a Panasonic AG-AF100 1080p.

Not too bad so far.

The price is right, however the hood offered is way too big and offers a funky way to attach to the screen. Let's see how it hold up with time.

The iKan VH8 8" HDMI Monitor (E6 Series) is equipped with an ultra wide screen that displays 1600 x 768 Ultra wide HD LCD panel. The VH8 has a H.U.D (Heads Up Display) vertically on the right side of the screen that reads incoming signals as well as false color and peaking. The VH8 has HDMI In/Out and a composite output for the video professional's preference. There are four touch sensitive function buttons on the rear that you can preset with the functions of your choice.
