Outstanding 4K image quality is now available for the VX monitor series! The VXF7 features a beautifully sharp, full HD+ 1920 x 1200 IPS LCD panel. It comes with many standard features such as peaking, false color, zooming, pixel-to-pixel mapping and histogram levels. This type of quality ensures you will capture your desired shot on the first try and makes the VXF7 monitor the ideal workhorse for any production environment. With the deluxe kit everything you need to get up and running is included.

Full HD+ Panel
The VXF7's full HD+ panel is incredibly sharp and pristinely clear. Blacks are deep, colors are amazingly accurate and the viewing angles are nearly perfect on the 1920 x 1200 (screen) resolution. Incorporating the IPS LCD panel eliminated many issues such as bad viewing angles and color rendition that occurred with standard TFT LCD panels. What you get with this on-camera monitor is nothing less than stellar image quality.

Made for Professionals
The VXF7 is a professional tool designed for the working professional. The ergonomics and button layout provides ease of use in the field. Four knobs on the front make it easy to adjust settings such as brightness, contrast and color. The back of the monitor is equipped with professional BNC connectors to keep your cables in place. A locking 4-pin XLR power input is also included so you never have to worry about losing power with a loose connection.

4K & Ultra HD Support
The VXF7 pairs perfectly with your current or future 4K compatible camera. It supports both the Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 resolution and Full 4K 4096 x 2160 pixel resolution. To help you focus with such high resolutions, we included the Pixel-to-Pixel mapping feature, which provides a 1:1 pixel representation of the 4K image coming through your camera lens.

Inputs and Outputs
The VXF7 features multiple inputs and outputs including composite, component, 3G-SDI and HDMI. Whatever signal is sent your way, the VXF7 is capable of handling it. Need to convert from SDI to HDMI? The VXF7 can quickly loop out your SDI signal to any HDMI monitor.

The Complete Package
The deluxe kit includes everything you need in the box. The package includes everything from the standard kit plus a hardcase, battery, charger, and two slim HDMI cables. The kits are also availbe in Sony L, Canon 900, Canon E6, Panasonic D54, and Nikon EL5 confirgurations.

Software Features

Peaking
Ikan monitors are equipped with Monochrome Peaking features which highlight the desired focus area in a bright, red outline. The operator adjusts the focus control until the red indicator outlines on the desired area are razor sharp, indicating optimal focus. For the best results, be sure the subject is properly exposed.

False Color
The False Color feature utilizes a full spectrum of assigned color indicators, ensuring flawless shot exposure. The under/ over luminance warning enables the video professional to get the quality he/ she desires every time. By adjusting the camera's Iris, the subject of the image will change color based on specific brightness values indicating optimal exposure.

Movable pixel to pixel
The 1:1 pixel-to-pixel mapping allows the video professional to emphasize on individual chosen elements in the shot. This feature is essential for capturing optimum detail.

Clip Guides
Ikan offers adjustable upper Clip Guide levels to accurately display overexposed images in any shooting condition. The operator simply assigns the upper IRE to their preference and any exposure over the set IRE limit will flash in a vivid purple, indicating only the over exposed area.

DSLR Scaling
The DSLR Scaling function enables users to extend their DSLR camera's HDMI video output to any option of four: Normal, 3:2, 16:9 or Full Screen - convenience made simple.

Underscan
Underscan constrains the size of your image so the monitor shows everything the camera is seeing.
