This was the first 12stg I owned. I have a few other expensive acoustics and electrics so this was more a toy for me to see if I like it. It has a nice full sound and the onboard tuner/eq is easy to use and pretty on. It definitely Needs tuning touch ups more frequently but that could just be the strings. I’ll play them till they break or I need to change. Overall I’m pleased and will play it for some time but I think I will be trading up to a Taylor Takamine in the $500-700 price point. But for a new player or someone who just wants a 12 to play with its solid.

I got this guitar from my wife for Christmas and the more I play it the more I like it. I did my own set-up as the action was way high and put on some Martins and it's all good now. I played several 12 strings at GC before I settled on this one, Epiphone, Yamaha, and a couple of $ low-ball Taylors but for the money this is the one I picked.

The AEG Series' slender, single-cutaway bodies deliver powerful and balanced acoustic sound, unplugged or through an amp or PA system. These guitars combine easy playability, classic solid and sunburst finishes and mahogany bodies with spruce tops to create a quality, workhorse acoustic guitar that will rise to any occasion. High quality Fishman Sonicore pickups and Ibanez preamps with onboard tuners provide the sparkling tones that sound great in any venue.
Ibanez Advantage bridge pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage, the pin and string stay put.
