This bass has exceeded all my expectations (which are fairly high)! A big thank you to Adorama for the way the bass was setup prior to delivery. The action and string spacing setup was superb out of the box and is very comfortable and enjoyable to play. I am aware that shipping logistics has been sketchy during COVID-19, but Adorama promptly shipped this bass to my home in Massachusetts without delay. I have played standard fret basses, but the fanned fretting on the EHB1005MS took minimal time to get accustomed to and the the bird's eye 5-piece maple neck is very comfortable to play (I have RA so anything that eases the wrist & finger issues I deal with are a big plus). I only had two "gripes" about the Ibanez EHB1005MS and they have having nothing to do with Adoroma, but more with Ibanez. First, for a bass costing over $1200, I wish Ibanez provided a higher quality gig bag than the one that came with the bass. Secondly, the EQ & volume knobs are kind of a "cheapy" plastic
