Three batteries, three failures.

I had 3 batteries shipped to me. The first one wouldn't hold a charge. The second one wasn't even recognized by the camera, so I couldn't charge it. The third one would run the camera for about 4 mins, then shut down with an error about the battery being incompatible with the camera. Not good.

Two batteries, both were bad.

On my good battery that came with the camera, the charge light is on constantly as the battery is charging. I bought one battery and when I tried to charge it, the camera charge light would flash and the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I got a replacement battery, hooked that up to the camera to charge it and the charge light wouldn't even turn on. As if it wasn't even connected.

Excellent replacement for Sony NP-FV90

Great alternative to Sony brand replacement battery.

50/50 shot

Reviews of non-OEM batteries are mixed as was my experience. I purchased two of the FV-70 to extend the run time of my backup camera. They came well packed in their own "hard" cases (a little like a small tupperware box and great to protect them when not in use) and one charged immediately and fully. I haven't used it enough yet to have a total minute count but it's over 60 in continuous use so I'm happy. The other battery wouldn't charge at all. I have a replacement on the way now. I might hesitate to recommend these for critical applications, but general use with a backup available is fine.
