Nothing special here. It works on both generic and OEM batteries as stated. Only issue is that it does not have a USB connection.

Nice price

The Rapid Battery Charger is great for using it in my car to charge my Nikon EN-EL15 battery while traveling.  It, also, came with an adapter for European outlets.  I have not used the adapter yet but getting both the 12V and the adapter for a very low price was a happy find.

Bought the D500 and needed a back up battery. This charger worked well and rapidly charged up the spare battery. Product arrived promptly and on time as advertised from Adorama.  Nice to work with professionals.

Nice to work with professionals

I like having extra chargers, and this one lets me charge a battery in the car -a nice feature for run-and-gun types. My Nikon EN-EL15 battery fits securely in the charger. Build quality is a little on the "seems weak" side with the battery retainer arms showing some flex (feels like they could break off). Still, for $15.00, I can't complain. Rest of the charger is rock-solid.

Nice charger, GREAT price

I'd give at least 24 hours to make sure batteries are charged" it's not at all as fats at charging as the nikon brand but I can get 3 of these for the price, and they work fine. Just make sure to pack extra batteries on your sessions. My grip holds two at a time. So being prepared is the name of the game.

Overall, this makes a good travel charger.  It has a compact, one-piece design using a folding plug.  It has a smaller footprint than Nikon's MH-25 charger although it doesn't match up for build quality (not bad but Nikon's is bullet-proof).  The LED light is logical: red = charging, green = ready.  It has an adapter plate design so you could conceivably carry additional plates for different batteries & the one charger.  Charging time appears about the same as the Nikon charger.  It comes with a car charger & a european adapter.  The orientation of the plug is inline with the charger body & will cover other outlets.  It could be improved by rotating it 90° (wish list).  Overall, I find this to be a good charger for my travel needs or home use.

It's quite Compact and good quality but there are 2 plastic pieces on the sides that hold the battery which seem a bit fragile

Battery Remote on the go.  Somewhat poorly designed and easily brearkable.  Good for a road trip but be careful not to break off plastic guides.

Rapid Battery Charger

It works well, I havent had any problems charging my batteries. The problem that I did have is I left it in my camera bag and when I took it out one of the clips that holds the battery in place while its charging broke. These clips are 4mm across and are the highest point on the battery charger which makes them easy to break. Bad design. Other than that its great, it comes with AC and DC means of charging which is nice to have on travel

Perfect little kit

This is a good set with 2 batteries during the travelling, really good for tourists who don't have enough time spending on the battery recharging, BTW the battery is durable and long time to use for D600. Nice choice for D600's backup battery set.

Rapid charger, that's the one

I have owned one for my ENEL3E a couple years now  and its just too convenient. Can't remember the last time I charged a battery using the supplied Nikon charger. So I purchased one for my D7000 based  on this experience. This just plugs into the wall outlet or strip and yoink, a charged battery in no time. The supplied car charging accessory is also simple, though it seems to take a while longer to completely  top off a battery, but that's not a problem for me. Highly recommended!

Great little travel charger...!

Decided to buy this charger while waiting for Nikon to replace the original charger that did not work out of the box. Charged one new battery with the cigarette lighter and it kept the new status in the camera. Charged another new battery with 110v AC and the camera said the battery was 4 years old. Then placed the "110v AC charged" battery in the "car charger" for 5 minutes and it returned to the new status, crazy.

The green light never came on after 2-1/2 hours in either 110v AC or 12v DC saying the battery was fully charged.

There are 2 tabs that hold the battery in place that will break off, but a rubber band will work after that.

Charger deserves the old adage "You get what you pay for".
