We've just been using this for a couple of weeks.  It's compact and functions well overall.  But the touch screen is not as responsive as I expected for a new machine.  This is particularly  bothersome since the reason we replaced the previous machine is that the touchscreen stopped working, and replacing that part would have been more expensive than buying this new machine.

Suboptimal touchscreen function

I really like this printer.  I replaced a Canon ink jet printer that I had for many years with this one.  The printer is lightning fast, and the print is very clear.  I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the set-up instructions while not terrible, could have been better.  Some confusing directions.   Including more pictures and giving some examples would have been very helpful.  I would purchase this printer again.

Great printer with confusing set-up instructions

Works well, powerful features and to this point, reliable.  Fast.  Many features.  It's noisy and the interface could be more intuitive.  Downloads of drivers is a morass--particularly confusing for the Mac.  Not sure we got all we should.  But, all things considered, it works well and gets the job done.

It gets the job done

I bought this because my very old Canon was no longer scanning very well. This new one prints and scans so quickly. I love that it scans both sides of the page without me having to turn the page over. I use this with a Mac computer and I've found the scanner works much more quickly with a wired USB-B cable connection to my computer. I would definitely buy this laser printer again! Thanks

Terrific All in One Laser Printer/Scanner

This printer has been great to have for our business.  I can print and make as many copies as needed and quickly.  It's very user friendly so you don't have to be super tec savy. It prints and copies clearly I'm black and white or color. And it has different sections to put different kinds of paper sizes/thickness.

Print as much as you need quickly

I waited a while to write a review on this printer. The Canon Laser printer is efficient especially for doing presentations that require the ink to not smear. Fast and easy to setup.
Would recommend to anyone that needs a basic black&white laser printer.

Great Buy

I have had a few printers but never one like this! The installation was a breeze it picked up my wifi immediately and I was printing from different locations in no time. Not only that, but print quality is excellent. Also the speed is pretty incredible on this printer. So overall take, if you are looking for an excellent speedy printer, this is it.

Awesome Workhorse!

This Canon is a multifunctional device and can be used as not only a printer but as a scanner and fax also. A starter toner cartridge was included that will print approximately 3000 sheets.  It was easy to hook to our home network and setup on the computer via wireless.   This one prints only black and white but that is mainly what we print anyhow.  The output is sharp and can accommodate paper up to 8.5 x 14.   A plus for this printer is it connects to my phone and I can print right from it.

Great office printer

This printer is not only a printer, it's a scanner, fax machine and copier.  It's easy to assemble and hook up.  Keep in mind it's a laser printer, uses toner and only prints black.  Perfect for what we need!

Very Nice Printer!

I got this printer as a backup for my Brother MFC 2700 DW. I use it for printing and scanning only, but the quality of the Canon product is superior and it's become my go to product. The image quality is significantly better, and the print speed is also superior.

Awesome printer

The printer came packed securely in a large box with styrofoam around it.  Setup and installation were straight forward and easy. The instruction manual is easy to follow and accurate. 
This is the first copier, fax, scanner and printer I've ever owned and I've been very impressed.  It is so easy to use and has so many options that I've not yet figured out all of them.  
I love having the ability to print both sides of a sheet of paper. I've also used the USB port for printing as well and like that feature. 
The quietness of this machine is also impressive as well as the speed at which it prints.

Wonderful copier

I got this printer to use for my small business and I really like it. It works perfectly for all my needs. The colors come out very vibrant. I also like the fact that I can fax with it too. I definitely recommend this printer for all your business needs!

Great features

This Hass to be one of the easiest printers I've ever set up, and the copy quality is beyond compare as always with canon products, there's never any doubt about the support and the quality of the item. Who knows how many printers I bought over the years starting with the remember that dot matrix printer and then how many other inkjet printers.  This presents quality for the bunny. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else for ease-of-use and set up.

So many features

This Laser Printer is the bomb!!  I am a crafter and do a lot of printing on waterslide paper.  My old printer sometimes left streaks.  This Canon doesn't do that!  This printer came boxed so nice and setup was very easy.  Printing is super fast.  The scanner scans 2 sided documents.  You can print right from your phone!  There are just so many features!  I'm so glad I chose this printer!  You will not be disappointed with this one!!

Excellent!!

This printer is amazing. First of all it is easy to set up and we love the air print feature. With all my children being in school they are always printing papers off. The quality of printing is great. The replacement ink cartridge seems easy to replace when i need to.

Amazing

Canon MF462dw - All-in-One, Wireless, Duplex Laser Printer prints super fast on both sides. I can easily print 50 pages very fast and the quality on the first page is just as great on the last page. It's fairly easy to set up and operate. I'm really enjoying being able to print directly from my cellphone and tablet. It scans really good and I love the fact that it comes with a CD.

I really love this machine!

I've always held a high regard for Canon products. Their cameras and inkjet printers have been favorites of ours for decades. However my feelings have changed since their  Image Class MF462DW Laser All-In-One printer entered our home. I like the design, and the ability to print, scan and fax at high speeds, however the set-up is not user friendly. The engineering team really went out of their way to make it confusing. It is very convenient to copy or print from a smart device. It can even print off of a USB flash drive. However the Canon scanner utility only seems to work if I'm using the printer from my hardwired desktop. I cannot figure out how to scan wirelessly.

Confusing Setup

The Canon imageCLASS MF462dw - All-in-One, Wireless, Duplex Laser Printer was packaged well. Directions were easy to follow. I was able to connect to my wireless network with ease. I love that I am able to print and scan from the printer using my USB flash drive.  I can print about 37 pages per minute. Prints 2 sided. I like the 5 inch screen that allows me to customize the features I like. I'm sure I will enjoy my new printer for years to come. Highly recommend

I received this printer a week ago and set it up right way and replaced my inkjet printer.  Love the fact that this printer comes with a black and white toner cartridge that lasts a lot longer than my other printer cartridges did.  We have a small home business and this printer is perfect.  Very easy to set up too!  Which is a plus.  The Home Screen is very user friendly and the has a very high print quality.

I set this Canon printer up this afternoon and I love it!  Set up was a breeze and it works so quietly.  The copy quality is perfect!  I have two other printers that I need to replace and this will be my new go to!  Very happy with this product!

Perfect Printer!

I am loving this All-In-One Laser printer. The packaging it comes in is quite large and bulky, however, it does protect the product very well. The instructions for removing the printer from the box were in a visible location and were easy to understand and follow. The installation and setup were rather easy and straightforward - this is due to the instructions that came with the printer. Once it is setup, it prints easily and accurately. I do wish that it states which direction the paper prints on in the paper tray, it does not. If I were placing in a letterhead, I would need to run some test sheets in order to confirm which direction it would print on the paper. All in all so worth the price. The quality is exceptional.

Great Printer

I received this a few days ago, and it was very easy to set up. It does come with black ink to start you up, which I was very happy about. The printer does it job good. I even scanned a few paperwork and worked great. I am very happy with the product, and we are planning buy another one that does color.

This is an excellent unit for a high function home office or small business.  The price is reasonable.  Very easy to set up and start using.  The print quality is great, and the user interface is very intuitive.  Highly recommend

High quality - good price

I am sooo happy with this printer/copier! I can't believe how fast it is and how easy it was to set up and use. I love the auto feeder and also the duplex print which will be a definite paper saver. My favorite feature was how easy it is to print from your mobile device.I would definitely recommend this for home office or small office setting.  It truly has every feature you could want.

I have had several different printers in my time and was always disappointed with my purchase. But this Canon printer is absolutely "AMAZING". I am thrilled that i finally found a printer that works so good. I love how quick it prints, and every page is so clear with great quality color. The panel is touchscreen, but very simple to use. The printer isn't huge, so it doesn't take up much space. The overall quality of this printer is absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this product to everyone. They won't be disappointed at all.

This Canon Image Class- All In One - Wireless - Duplex Printer is great for working from home! Having a system that is a printer, scanner and fax machine is very convenient. It was easy to set up and user friendly.

Cannon Printer

I'm really pleased with this printer! It was not hard to set up and has worked great so far. I like the multifunction of it and how sturdy it seems. The only drawback is that it weighs a ton. I hope it will hold up well for my needs!

So far so good! I like the size and quality of Canon laser printer. Perfect fit for my home office. The prints are crisp and clear. The scanning feature is on point as well. The only negative was setting it up. I found the instructions a bit confusing.
