Upgraded from an XTI but wasn't sure if I wanted to go straight to the 70D. Read great reviews regarding the 60D, especially how great Adorama's refurbished models were, so I decided to go for the refurbished 60D. So far, I haven't regretted the purchase one bit, and as far as it being refurbished, the camera was in beautiful condition with not a mark on it. The camera is amazing, I love it already even thought I haven't had a chance to really put it through the paces!! The quality of the camera speaks for itself, but I would also highly recommend checking out Adorama's used department. You won't be disappointed

I love this camera! It is perfect for taking portrait and action shots! Love the high ISO settings which give me the chance to take photos in low light without a flash! Not sure yet about the swing out screen-a little worried that may not last but time will tell!

I purchased the 60D to experiment with DSLR videography in my own time. I had a hard time deciding between the new Rebel SL1 and this one, but with the 60D, I can access the shutter speed and aperture in a fraction of a second. Solid build, but I purchased with the Adorama extended warranty just in case because it's a refurbished product.

I've had this camera for a few weeks, and I'm pleased with the results. I haven't ventured into the "Creative Zone" yet, but the photography-for-dummies presets work great so far.

I purchased this camera kit to replace my stolen T2i. So glad that I decided to take a chance on the Refurbished 60D. The camera looked and functioned like brand new, only thing that looked slightly used was the battery. I would absolutely purchase this unit again.

What a great buy! Every time I see a full prices Canon 60D in a store, I smile knowing I saved about $300 for the same thing buying refurbished. It comes is a Canon box, packaged with all the original accessories. There was not a single blemish on the product which is really my favorite thing about buying refurbished, it is just like new with a much friendlier price tag. I bought the Adorama extended warranty which gives you a year from the purchase date for like $15, which is worth it for the peace of mind it brings. As for the Camera itself, I couldn't decide between the T3i and the 60D, but now after really getting some use out of it, I am extremely happy I went with the 60D, it's much more rugged and robust feeling, it is really nice having the second click wheel (yes it actually makes a difference), the LCD screen on top, the 18-135mm lens has great reach, overall it's just a huge improvement. I would say if you are on a very tight budget, then the t3i might be a better choice, but I would say spend the extra money if you can it's well worth it!

I was a little reluctant of buying a refurbished product because you never really know for sure what you're getting. However, I am very pleased with this purchase. The camera I received was basically brand new (the body only had 58 actuations on the shutter). The only complaint I have was that the lens has a strange odor. It's kind of a mix between that fresh plastic smell and cannabis. I've been telling everyone it was confiscated in a drug raid. The smell has aired out for the most part now and is not really an issue anymore.

I was very surprised by the speed of Adorama. This was y first purchase and it will not be my last. The camera, although refurbished, looked brand new with not so much as a speck of dust. The lens was clean and everything was functional. This camera also has the greatest battery. This is part of the reason I bought it. Battery charged from being completely empty to about 95% in under an hour. It also has lasted me about a week without being turned off and just letting the camera "go to sleep" after about a minuet. Would defiantly suggest this camera to anyone, even a beginner. The interface and quick start guide are extremely helpful and the UI is simple and gorgeous. Definatly a fan and hope many choose this camera!

I use the camera for family and artistic photos. I got it refurbished from Adorama, but you can't tell the difference with a brand new. These guys make sure the refurbished are top quality. So, I'd recommend to procure this in order to save money and still get the same quality as a brand new. The camera in itself is amazing, it has all the features you can need in order to get professional quality photos. Of course, you might want to buy a book and take a class in order to know and master all the possibilities that 60D offers. It might be a little frustrating at the beginning, but once you start mastering the Tv, Av, M, etc features, the photos are truly wonderful. I recommend the camera and Adorama wholeheartedly.

I'm amazed by the camera, this is my first DSLR camera, my girlfriend is a photographer and I chose Canon since she has Canon and that makes it easier for me to have access to more accessories, still, the camera is great, don't think I can talk about tech details, and even though you have them all over the net, what I can say is that I recommend this for any entry level photographer or photo enthusiast who wants a powerful yet accessible camera, this just made me very happy and feel quite comfortable using it. PS. The service, packaging and shipping from Adorama was just amazing.

I was looking to upgrade from my old Canon xsi and was planning to buy a 7D, but after reading a number of reviews I opted for the 60D. Adorama had a terrific price on the refurbished kit. The camera is excellent and far superior to the xsi in almost all respects. The flip-out screen, the LCD display, the megapixal count and the enormous amount of control over the shot are great plusses. Also, you can install Magic Lantern on it, opening up many more features and tweaks. Overall a tremendous value for the price.

I got the 60D to replace my Rebel xTI that finally died. Considered switching to Nikon, but heard the learning curve with commands/buttons was somewhat high. Have only used the 60D for 2 weeks but so far I have very happy with the ease of use and picture quality. I've taken pictures indoors and outdoors and both are equally good. Haven't taken video yet. Purchase from Adorama was easy and shipping was quick.

So far this has been a great camera, I'm still learning the basics but have shot some great video and pictures of fishing and hunting in Idaho and Oregon

Have been trying out for a week. So far, very satisfied. My intended uses will be sports photography and family portraits. Will provide an update when I get to use it a little more. The kit 18-135 lens is VERY good. The focus depth of field seems to be very good at lower aperatures.

I purchased this 60D as an upgrade from my Digial Rebel body; I am so glad I did. My 4-year old Rebel was fine, but now having gotten used to the 60d I can't go back. The HD video (my Rebel didn't have video) is great. Video quality is wonderful. Two minor gripes with the video are: (1) no real auto-focus while shooting video - there is a way to force focus but since the mirror is up while shooting video, it is a very poor auto-focus algorithm- almost need to shoot in manual focus if your focal plane is changing, and (2) movies are limited by max file size so no hour-long movies. This second point is no big deal, since most of my video is shot in short clips so I can work around this limitation. I think my next upgrade will be once Canon figures out how to add a true auto-focus to the video mode. The 60d is really nice. Higher end shutter mechanism, faster shutter than my old Rebel, more features and auto-focus points, just a generally faster and more no-nonsense camera. I love it. It's a great camera to get now to use now. Adorama ran out of stock after I ordered, but they stepped up and made it right and got it out to me. I give them credit for a good purchase and nice follow-up with the customer service. I will certainly buy from Adorama again.

I just got this camera delivered and it is superb. I am being 100 percent honest, there is no reason to buy a brand new one, this one looks like it is better than new.

What a great deal. I would have never known this item was refurbished. Everything works great and looks brand new. Always nice to save a little money when I can.

I shoot mostly wildlife and landscapes and am very happy with this camera. The 60D offers amazing image quality and very good low light performance. If you can get in on the refurbished kit deal you're way ahead of the game, the camera and lens appeared new, impossible to tell from a non refurbished unit. The only thing I can fault is the 18-135 lens which isn't anything special. The lens is fairly slow to focus especially if you're used to ultrasonic lenses and the IQ isn't spectacular. I paired this 60D body with my 70-200 2.8L lens and the results are amazing. The 60D is absolutely one of the best values in the Canon lineup very durable and solid feeling, especially compared to the Rebel series. For comparison I also have a 20D and use a 5DMII at work and for the money this 60D can't be beat.
