There is no option to scan to email in grayscale from the machine control panel; only color and black-and-white modes are available. The PDF output of black-and-white scans contains NTSC TV artifacts. In the settings, the option to use alternative grayscale conversion algorithms (sRGB, RGB) is disabled.

I was very fortunate to receive this printer in exchange for an unbiased review. What a gift though. This wireless 4-in-1 color laser printer. You can use it to print, scan, copy and fax. I have used it to do everything except fax, as I haven't sent a fax in years. Aside from being a very heavy piece of equipment, set-up was seamless. I followed each step that was very easily laid on the instruction papers. In order to use it as a wireless printer across our home office, all I had to do was connect it to the wireless internet, which was very quick. With previous wireless printers logging into a network can be fussy, this was quick and easy. I was able to print from my laptop, my phone, and my iPad. Someone came into my home office and got on our wireless network and they were able to print something right from their phone, with no issues. I would assume this would be the same if they brought their laptop. I often print recipes and always prefer to print them in color and double sided. This does that seamlessly and so quickly. I always feel better about printing things when I can print double sided as far as saving paper. Although I'm tech savvy, I still prefer to print things out to proofread by hand. Overall I highly recommend this printer for the needs I outlined above.

I wanted to share my experience with using the cannon printer , which I got for free to review. I must say I am very pleased with the printer since its warming up and printing is pretty fast compare to my old printer. The Printing quality is very good and fast in process. The Set up overall was very easy but had to YouTube since book is always hard to follow. I even scanned some documents which were fairly very easy to scan and send. I used WiFi setting since it's always nice to have a wireless printer and scanner to avoid getting out of my bed or my sitting area. I have a MacBook,iPad, and a iPhone and it's connects easily and I am able to print whatever I need with a touch of a button. The touchscreen is super intuitive and the auto duplex feature saves paper without slowing anything down. If it is in the sleep mode, it wakes up and instantly starts printing, so no more waiting for the printer to reboot.I love the fact that you can use usb feature and use the touch interface to print out my husbands assignment. I also Like this printer since it's laser jet and will use less toner than an inkjet printer. The one downside is it is very heavy and huge, so you need a bigger space to fit the printer. I also had a hard time with fax since it makes too much of a loud screeching noise compared to my hp printer. Overall, I am satisfied with this printer.

Great printer, easy to use, fast set up. I am completely satisfied with this machine. I received my printer in exchange for my review, and to be perfectly honest I was really not sure what to expect. I had never owned a Canon printer previously, so I was worried that there would be a learning curve. Not at all! This printer is plug and play. My husband and I got it unboxed, plugged in, and were printing wirelessly from our phones in minutes. It has been night and day compared to my previous printer from another brand. One of the first things I printed was a family photo. I used my phone to wirelessly print. I did not have to set anything up or get an app, just find the printer and print. It was super easy and the image was fantastic. With my old printer, I had to have two apps. Even with the apps it was a struggle to reconnect and set up a print job every single time I needed to print from my phone. I have had no problems scanning to the laptop, making copies, using duplex printing (which I prefer to use to save on paper) or anything else. I did need to follow the startup guide in order to print from the computer, but that was all pretty easy and intuitive as well. It's fast and I like the print quality. The paper feeds through nicely, the printer itself seems well made, and it has all of the features I need for household/family use and what I need for work. It checks all the boxes for me, and I want a lot out of my printer.

I received this Canon printer for free in exchange for writing an honest review, and overall I'm very happy with it. I'm using it for home printing, but it's definitely sturdy and powerful enough for an office setting. Setup was mostly easy, although I did run into some trouble connecting it to my phone. I actually found the setup instructions on the device itself much clearer than the ones provided through the QR code. The printer is larger than I expected, and the paper tray feels a bit flimsy, but it does function well. I've also used it for two-sided printing, and it handled that very well. The print quality has been excellent-images look professional, with sharp, vibrant colors and no blurriness. It also prints surprisingly fast. Despite a couple of minor quirks, I'm really pleased with this printer and would recommend it.

*I received this printer in exchange for my HONEST opinion.* It took about 5 minutes to set up out of box. (Setting up wifi. Installing updates. Initial print test. Adding to devices.) Printing speed is lightning fast. I printed from my phone, tablet and both laptops with zero issues. This is a great printer for my business needs. Great for custom bookmarks, journals or even printing your own books. I've been able to print 3-4x the number of copies with this printer, even when using duplex printing. Now...While this is amazing at printing quick bookmarks or simple book covers, I wouldn't spend time trying to print quality art prints. Photography prints? Absolutely! However...I noticed random smudging of ink on some prints. This can be annoying if you are using higher end paper. I also worry that over time the smudging will get worse. Overall I give this a 4 out of 5 due to the fact this baby spits out as fast as a large commercial office printer.

This is a review of the Canon MF665Cdw printer. I received the printer for free in exchange for providing a review of the printer. Wireless printing has been great. I've been using it for the past two weeks with no issues at all. My kids and I have been printing wirelessly from mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and the kids' school ipads. The setup process was a bit complicated, where things didn't work the way the instructions said they would. I had to manually put in my home network and password to connect the printer to wifi. I was under the understanding that it would pick up the connection from my phone (if connected to the same network), which was not the case. That's why i had to find the network through the printer's settings and input it manually, which wasn't a huge deal for me. The print quality and speed have been great. My kids and i have used the printer for all sorts of print demands, such as for school projects and myself for work. I have used the duplex printing a few times as well, and it works quite well. I can definitely see this saving time and paper.

I picked up this printer for my home office. Over the last few years I've been shifting more towards working out of the home and the old black and white laser printer along with the failing color inkjet have become annoying and more useless. I decided to give this printer a try - I did get a free sample in exchange for my honest review. The printer came securely packaged and set up was pretty simple. Adding it to my home network was also easy and I was able to start printing quickly. This printer has many options that are configurable to my needs. It takes the place of the two printers I already had, my fax machine and my scanner. I love the feed function when scanning large numbers of pages - it does duplex scanning effortlessly. Automatic duplex printing also works well where I could use half the paper saving on space and money. What I love about Laser Printers is that the toner goes a long way plus it does not dry out like the inkjets so there is a significant cost savings in supplies. I did find the menus and settings somewhat confusing at first. The app could be a little clearer as well however I was able to quickly navigate it after several uses. I installed it on everyone's phones and tablets - we can now all print directly from any device in the house. The speed of the printer is significantly quicker than my old laser printer. I also never had a copy function with my old machine and that came in handy a number of times already. While this is not a photo printer, it does a really good job printing photos and color illustrations. I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a home office or even those with kids that print lots of color documents for school projects. So far it's worked flawlessly and I expect the same for many years to come.

I needed something that could handle personal, small business and school workloads and the Canon Color Image Class MF665Cdw printer does it with ease and perfection. Right out the box, this printer was packaged with great care. No fuss process to get you up and running. I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was to set up this printer. There are straightforward directions included as well as QR codes that will walk you through the process requiring only a few minutes of your time. Just make sure you have your networking details on hand. Wireless printing is a great feature. I have it connected to my phones, laptops and desktops with no problems printing. It's easy to print from media files to use for your business, photos for frames, business cards, thank you cards or whatever your needs may be. It prints the most rich and vibrant colors!! Photos and documents come out with such great quality. The touch screen is not overly sensitive and it includes many custom options that can save you time. The automatic double sided printing for this printer is very fast and saves me time, paper and money. It prints double sided faster than my old printer printed single sided. Overall I highly recommend this printer as it has consistently proven to be fast, reliable and gives quality output documents. It definitely has exceeded my expectations and I have found this to be a wonderful printer with no breakdown or issues with any components thus far.

I received this printer free in exchange for agreeing to write a review. The printer is large and heavy, with a nice build quality overall. It has four separate toner cartridges so they can be replaced individually if you run out of one color or another. The auto duplex printing and scanning is very nice. Scanner quality is great for documents. For photos, it is passable but not great. Full color photo printing is really decent as well - not full photo-printer quality, but good for a non-dedicated-photo printer. Color documents come out very nice. Setup was a hassle. I have it set up on wifi - the touch screen keypad is mediocre and difficulty to type on - I ended up using a stylus to complete the setup. For daily use, selecting copies or scans, etc., the keypad is fine since the on-screen buttons are large, but for specific work like typing a wifi password, it is just very poor and too easy to hit the wrong keyboard button. The printer has a bad tendency to drop or forget the wifi connection when it goes into sleep / power conservation mode. I did set the printer to a static IP in hopes of fixing the issue, but it did not resolve it - the issue is the printer simply loses all wifi connections whenever it goes into sleep / power conservation mode and then you have to power cycle / restart the printer to re-initialize the wifi. When I check the settings on the printer when this happens, it shows zero wifi networks - and it's 10' from my router. I do have an older black and white Canon laser printer, and it never drops the wifi connection, and both printers are right next to each other. A wired connection would probably resolve this issue, or disabling power conservation / sleep mode, but the wifi issues are frustrating and annoying. The "work-around" is just to restart the printer. Printing from my phone using the Canon printer app was straightforward. My laptop also founds the printer via the wireless network without any issues - until the printer went into sleep / power conservation mode and lost the connection. As a printer, it works very well but for the wifi issues. It is fast, colorful, and performs well. My only gripe and grumble is the wifi issues.

I'm excited to share my experience with the Canon Color Image Class MF665Cdw printer, and I'm absolutely impressed! I received this printer free in exchange for writing a review, but that does not influence my honest opinion. First, the printer came very well protected in the box. The setup process was very quick-just three or four minutes, the easiest I've ever done (and I have installed many printers in the past for myself and for friends as well). Once set up on my Windows desktop computer and connected to my network, the printer appeared instantly on all my devices: my iPhone and iPad and on my laptop. My wife and my son were also able to see it on their phones as well. Wireless printing is so easy: just open your document, select print, choose Canon MF665Cdw and hit print. That's it. I tested it from multiple devices, and every time it worked just fine. This is a toner printer, and the print quality is amazing-sharp text and excellent colors - just like the professionally printed flyers. When I print documents, I usually use duplex printing, which I can select with a single checkmark and it's printing on both sides of the paper. One of the best features for me is the way the scanner can be set up. I can scan directly to my desktop to a folder of my choice, or I can scan to an email , which is so convenient since it allows you to create your own address book and ad many emails. That way I can scan a document and send it straight to my wife's email or mine or my son's. The printer is fast, quiet, and very convenient, with excellent print and scan quality. I'm thrilled with it, and the fact that I promised to write a review since the printer was free does not affect my opinion at all. I confidently give five stars out of five to the Canon MF665Cdw and recommend it to anyone who needs an easy-to-use, high-quality toner printer!

I received this printer for free as part of a promotion, and I've been very surprised by how well it performs. My last printer is only 3 years old and this model blows it out of the water! The wireless printing has been flawless, I have printed documents and photos from my windows computer, MacBook, iMac, iPad, and iPhone 17 with no issues at all, did I mention that it is FAST! I have not even bothered to try to print hard wired because my house runs on wireless everything! The setup process was quick and straight forward, pretty much plug and play! It took longer to unbox than it did to set up, which is a good thing, this thing was perfectly packaged to keep it from getting damaged the printer connected to Wi-Fi on the first try with no headaches. Print quality is sharp and clean, both for text and color graphics. I run a small business and I also have a full-time job and this has handled all of my printing needs without an issue, I printed double sided manuals around 80- pages and it was flawless. Printing is fats, I did not time it, but compared to my other printer once again it was top notch! Overall, I would gladly give this printer 5 stars, it is quick to set up, easy to use and has all of the features I need for my home and business. If you are looking for fast printer integration there is no need to look any further.

Print quality is crisp and professional. Text is sharp, and color documents come out decent. For example, I used it to print thank you cards for clients, and they were nice enough to feel special. That said, while the color quality is nice, it's not art print quality (and I know it doesn't claim to be!). If you're an artist looking to print final pieces for sale, you'll still want to use a professional print service. For everyday office documents, client proofs, and promotional materials though, it does the job well. The speed is impressive too. I'm not waiting around forever for larger jobs. As far as the duplex printing feature, it has saved me so much paper (and guilt!!). It's been seamless and really helpful, especially for financial documents and long contracts. A bonus I didn't expect was the fax feature, it actually came in handy! My neighbor is older and recently asked if I could help them send a fax, and I was happy to be able to say yes! While it's not something I'll ever use daily, it's definitely nice to have when you need it. My only gripes? The printer is a bit of a monster and quite bulky. I found a spot for it, but a small office may have trouble placing this big boy! The toner cartridges also look like they could really get pricey, but to be honest, that's most printer cartridges these days. Like I inferred earlier as well, I've noticed that the Wi-Fi connection occasionally drops or struggles to connect when I'm working downstairs. It's an older house, so I'm used to things just not working sometimes, but it always comes back online if I move around a bit. Overall, I'd highly recommend this printer for fellow creatives or small office warriors who need reliability and quality and have the space to house it.
