Got the new Canon 6D Mark ii as an upgrade from an eos Rebel. As a beginner, I was wanting to take better photos and not break the bank with a mirrorless camera just yet. Also its easy to operate and i love everything about it. I had a 50mm lens already and is great for my outdoor portraits. Adorama made the purchase and shipping easy and also got the warranty.

The camera is amazing! The biggest difference I immediately noticed was the color and nois. Required less editing and color correcting compared to my EOS 80D but love both cameras just the same.

I am so pleased with all I received and all that it can do. I especially liked the video by Rick Sammon, Explorer of Light that I got to see. If I hadn't already decided my Canon EOS 6D Mark II was the camera I wanted, that would have convinced me.

Happy with this body, thought I don't use many features, old school manual ops and zone metering with spot good for me and simple.

We bought this camera about a year ago and my wife really loves it. She also bought with it the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM Optical Telephoto Lens. She has gotten great results with outdoor/indoor sports use (action shots). She has many people on my daughter's high school teams wanting their pictures taken during play. The Cheer Coach is likely going to purchase this camera/lens setup. Great job Canon!

I love my 6D Mark II. It was my first full frame camera. I shot with it professionally for years. I eventually wore the USB slot out from tethering and had to send it in for repair but it was heavily used. I recently went mirrorless with a R6 but still keep my 6D ready as a backup.

An Economical Way to get into Full Frame DSLR... truly classic and worth every penny. The only minor complaint is with the changes in some tolerances by Canon--certain 3rd party lenses with protruding back elements (vintage lenses) don't clear the mirror so you have to go into a mirror lock-up mode or you get contact errors as it sticks against the lens. While this was never a problem with the Canon 5d Mark III--it is consistent nowadays not only on this camera but also the Mark IV. (which is why my next camera will probably be mirrorless) That being said-- still a fantastic camera for the price point and I have used mine for many years for professional and personal projects.

Good DSLR, better cameras on the market but if you want a full-frame DSLR this is a great starter. On the slow side for FPS. I completely switched over from the DSLR to Mirrorless besides my 1DXII. Shot MLS games with this camera. Quality.

I love my EOS 6D Mark II. This is a great DSLR camera with easy to use functionality. THE 26.2 MP full frame design creates sharp and beautiful images. I bought the battery pack which makes this camera a workhorse on the job. The back auto focus and focus area selection is great. I thought I would use Live View more but I use prime lens so I do not rely on the camera to determine where to focus my shots.

I know all the negatives there are to know about 6D2, I have been dwelling over this camera body since it came out. It doesn't make sense at all the amount of artificial limitations introduced into this. You can literally opt in to any entry level Nikon and you're guaranteed to have better sensor / noise performance than 6D2. Trying it for myself I'd like to say even though I'm terribly disappointed in Canon's decision making, I'm quite fond of it. The picture taking experience with a DSLR that has good ergonomics and "good enough" performance is still rewarding enough not to through it away. Yes I love my 6D2 and it's the worst camera you could buy in 2022.

I have yet to be disappointed by this camera! Obviously a flash will make your photos pop indoors and out, and will give you that crisp clear look we love, but it was the upgrade I needed in my life :)

This is my first Canon full frame in quite awhile and I know I am late to the party here but this is a nice camera. The full kit that Adorama provided was also quite helpful. The touch screen format is really very slick coming as I am from a Nikon camera. The focus seems quick and sharp and is quite flexible but has a bit of a learning curve. All and all I like this camera and despite some complaints about dynamic range, I have not found that to be too much of an issue with my type of landscape shooting.

Purchased the 6D Mark II a little over a year ago, an upgrade from my Canon 50D. Loved the 50D, fast, clear shots, just wanted to upgrade to a full-frame and take advantage of my various Canon lens I've purchased. To fully appreciate the 6D Mark II I would suggest investing in an L-series prime lens to see the difference in your photo taken. A few months after purchasing the 6D Mark II I purchased the EF 24-70 f/2.8L II USM, really showed me the difference between the 50D and 6D Mark II.

I've been using this camera with my 100mm macro lens and it's been great. I was using the 2000D before and the 6D has opened up a new world of possibilities. The movable display makes it possible to get all kinds of new angles and the higher ISO means I can work in indirect light. Above 8000 ISO the details start to suffer. The noise is much different from the 2000D; instead of colorful grain there is general quality loss. The accessory bundle was a nice bonus. The memory card immediately went into the camera and the screen protector has stayed put even though I have had the screen in dewy grass on a number of occasions. The camera bag is too small to fit this camera, but it's very handy for storing the old one. It is comfortable to carry and will be great for a backup camera/lenses.

Awesome !!

Upgraded from my 6D which I've owned for 4 years. Can't understand the naysayers giving this camera negative reviews. Canon is up front about what it has and what it doesn't, so why complain about the lack of features after you purchased it. Photos are tack sharp, Menu is easy to use, new focus system and pixel count are improvements. To say this is not a pro camera is really under rating its capabilities.

I have owned the 6D Mark I and also the 5D Mark III, and can say that I prefer this new 6D Mark II overall. Things I really like are the dual pixel autofocus (very fast and accurate, face recognition and tracking (so cool!), variable touch screen, the frames per second, and low light capabilities. The only quibble I have is the lack of a joystick as found on the 5D to move the AF point around. However, the touch shutter on the 6DII is much faster than the joystick, and you can really pinpoin...

For superb performance on the go, the Canon EOS 6D Mark II camera puts full-frame performance into a compact, fully featured DSLR. Its 26.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 Image Processor help deliver amazing results even at expanded ISO settings, making it great for challenging low-light situations as well as landscape, portrait and event photography. The EOS 6D Mark II also features an impressive optical viewfinder with 45 all cross-type AF points*, fast and accurate Dual Pixel CMOS AF and a Vari-angle Touch Screen LCD for Live View operation which helps create unique angles. With the EOS 6D Mark II’s speed to capture action and the versatility to create phenomenal photographs and Full HD 60p videos in numerous environments and lighting situations, the camera offers creative content makers a winning combination of advanced features in a portable package that’s as fun as it is powerful.
* The number of AF points, cross-type AF points and Dual cross-type AF points vary depending on the lens used.
The Canon EOS 6D Mark II features a 26.2 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor (approx. 35.9mm x 24.0mm) designed to create high-resolution and detailed images. Capable of sensitivities ranging from ISO 100 to ISO 40000 (expandable to L: 50 and H2: 102400), the EOS 6D Mark II’s sensor captures images of 6240 x 4160 pixels with a pixel size of 5.67 µm square for outstanding detail and a superb signal-to-noise ratio, resulting in great images. Combined with the EOS 6D Mark II’s compact and lightweight design, it helps make high-resolution photography easy and accessible.
For next-level AF operation, the Canon EOS 6D Mark II camera has a wide-area, 45-point all cross-type AF system* which allows you to track fast subjects accurately throughout the frame and has low luminance performance to EV -3 which makes it excellent in dim light. Canon’s high-precision AF system, high-quality bright prism and Intelligent Viewfinder II let you see exactly what the lens sees. These features help provide instant information such as camera settings, with a limited chance of glare so you can easily see and quickly change settings on the spot no matter the shooting situation. The EOS 6D Mark II also features 5 types of AF area selection modes useful for a number of different AF situations.
* The number of AF points, cross-type AF points and Dual cross-type AF points vary depending on the lens used.
The Canon EOS 6D Mark II camera features Canon’s brilliant Dual Pixel CMOS AF for crisp Live View shooting. With two photodiodes per pixel capable of phase-difference detection autofocus, Dual Pixel CMOS AF delivers fast and accurate AF throughout the image plane. Able to detect shifts in movement at the pixel level, Dual Pixel CMOS AF enables continuous automatic AF and AF tracking that enhances overall camera operation for sharp still images and smooth, accurate focus transitions in movies, even at Full HD 60p.
The DIGIC 7 Image Processor powers the Canon EOS 6D Mark II camera to produce high image quality and fast operation, even in in low light. The camera features a wide range of ISO 100–40000 for still and videos and it can help keep results sharp and detailed in virtually any lighting situation. Powerful all around, the EOS 6D Mark II can produce beautiful images even where light is limited.
The Canon EOS 6D Mark II is the first full-frame Canon EOS DSLR camera to have a Vari-angle Touch Screen 3.0-inch ClearView LCD II monitor for composing and reviewing photos and movies with ease. Its touch sensitive controls make it easy to select and adjust focus, menu and quick control settings with a touch of a finger. Two-finger touch gestures can be used for zooming or changing images. The 1.04 million dot LCD monitor is constructed to help minimize reflections and treated with a smudge-resistant coating for a bright, clear and easily viewable display.

Still images can even be transferred between two wireless-enabled Canon cameras over a Local Area Network (LAN). Images and video can also be uploaded instantly to CANON iMAGE GATEWAY# for easy sharing on social networking sites, and photos can even be printed on a wireless PictBridge-certified printer without the need for a PC.

The EOS 6D Mark II camera is built for uninterrupted performance, even when conditions get messy. The battery compartment cover, card slot cover, lens mount, terminal covers and buttons are weather-sealed to help keep water and dust out. The EOS 6D Mark II’s high precision aluminum alloy and polycarbonate resin construction ensures a lightweight and durable camera that gives you the confidence to use in various situations.
