Does the job

I originally bought this for my Canon T6i and could not get it to work. Recently I bought it again for use with new EOS R100. I got it to work and then tried it on my T6i and got it to work on that as well. It occured to me that I could not get it to work initially, on the T6i because I did not have the batter compartment hatch secured properly. So I bought another (directly from Canon because I had returned the original to Canon for a refund)

Works great with Canon RP Mirrorless Camera when installed correctly.

Important Tip: There is a little cut out on the side of the camera body (by the battery chamber) for the AC adapter cord to pass through so you can close the battery door. If you do not do this step to secure the cable and close/lock the battery door the unit will not work.

This must be a very popular item as every web site I went to had it on back order. Decided to order it from Adorama as I was chatting with a sales person about this item. Only thing I didn’t like was it was shipped to me in two separate orders. But since we had cloudy and rainy skies here, it didn’t really matter.

Only got half of it

I probably would have said great things about this product, if id got the other half of it. so, so far i've paid 90 dollars and received only the part i put into the wall. not the part i plug into my camer. tad dissapointing
