Dan C : I have not yet used Photoshop but have been warned to stay away from Elements as it is NOT true Photoshop. How can I get the real Photoshop without clogging it up with Elements or other Adobe add ons?
BRYAN H : Is this a complete with software CD or a license only purchase for a download? I have several computers at home and want to install it on all.T J G : It's complete media including license. I'm unsure about Adobe's policy of multiple installations, but this came as a CD with the product keys for licensing.COAI P : I believe you can only install on two machines. I always purchase the disc because When my computer crashes, I can load it on the new computer instead of having to repurchase. I also believe if you do install it on two machines and you need to put it on another, as long as you deactivate it from one computer you can reinstall on another. Hope this help. Buy the disc if you can, it saves a lot of heartache when things go awry. I wish Adobe would allow 3 computers. ( My desktop for home) and on both of my laptops, because when I travel internationally I take the smaller laptop, to save on luggage.

Solid, reliable software

This is an older version, lacking some of the bells and whistles of more current versions...but I use it exclusively for the "Organizer" feature; I do very little photo editing. The PSE10 organizer handles my 30,000+ image database easily, allowing me to use a virtually infinite number of nested keywords for subject searching and sorting. There are newer versions of PSE, but for my purposes, PSE10 is excellent.

As with many products, Adobe Photoshop Elements has steadily declined in quality over its reincarnations. 10, which I luckily found years ago, is one of the best versions. Hard to find now but well worth searching out.

more than expected

Received in a bundle as a purchase. i was amazed at how much post processing can be done. Much more then what I have with I photo.the only concern is the learning curve and lack of a manual to help. The elements does have pop up screens to help but don't always explain every thing and disappear too soon. So it is a constant sense of satisfaction of what can be done with th is software.
