I really like this printer, but only buy with the battery. I got this as a portble field printer and use my photo ink jet printer for larger and high quality prints. It's a bit bulky and heavy but leaves other portable printers in the dust. I particularly like being able to insert an SD or micro SD card and getting a print. This makes it compatible with almost all digital cameras, not just cell phones and those with wifi and bluetooth. It combines thee best of digital photography and instant photography.

Had an older Canon Selphy that worked like a charm. This connection to iPhone is impossible. Don't buy this unless you're an IT engineer.

Just received today. I have only been able to print 2 pictures from my iPhone. Otherwise it is busy or does not accept data. I was so excited when I ordered only to have regret tonight. Can't return so I am stuck with a worthless product.

I purchased this printer as a replacement for my Selphy CP 910. This one is a real improvement , with more features. Having the battery pack is great for traveling, too. The photo quality is excellent, too.

Unit does not require a separate battery charger...it is built in to the printer. The battery simply attaches to the back of the printer and provides enough power for dozens of prints...or simply leave off the battery and just run with the included power cord. To charge the battery just leave it attached to the printer while the printer is powered by the power cord. Very compact mobile solution that works perfectly without any compromises.

I bought the Polaroid zip printer & snap instant printer camera before purchasing my Canon1200 (and I'm a Nikon girl so I felt a bit like a traitor having Canon in the house. From months of research & debating the zip was my choice for portability purpose plus I use wallet size in my scrapbooks, but the clarity & color is horrendous. I was about to buy the Canon 910 after dissatisfaction with Polaroid when I noticed the new 1200 model and decided the price difference was too minimal not to go 1200. I believe the Polaroid & Canon have the same dpi so am completely amazed my the difference. The color & clarity look almost EXACTLY like the photo coming from my phone (with a galaxy s6 taking incredible photos & I'm saying that when I also shoot with a Nikon D5200). The prints from the Polaroid zip were so washed out & unclear I can't bring myself to use it for anything but a party novelty but this selphy will be used for not only my scrapbook but anything else I need a post card size or smaller for since it's pleasing to my perfectionist eye I won't be embarrassed to share it's prints or see them in my extravagant scrapbooks for a lifetime. Can't wait to be able to afford a battery & take it everywhere with me (definitely larger & heavier than the zip but oh so worth it, & chaeper!).
