I use this camera every day, I have for several years now. I love it. I start each day by sticking it in my pocket. I own a cat boarding kennel and have to take pics of kitties to send to their owners every day. This little camera is perfect - it meets all the conditions I need - it is little, I can stick it in my pocket and carry around with me, I don't need (or want a big fancy camera for my award winning pictures (!!), it takes great pictures quickly for those moments a cat is doing something TOO cute, the pictures are sharp and clear with good color. I just grab it out of pocket, turn it on, zoom in a bit and click and I've got exactly what I need. I love that the battery is rechargeable and I'm not always replacing batteries. My only problem is I thought I was too good to use the wrist band. Last week I dropped it and now the lenses aren't working when I try to turn it on. I am quite disheartened that I couldn't buy a new one immediately - they're on backorder. I hope they're available again soon, I'd hate to have to get something else. And I hope they bring it back in BLUE again.

This Camera works great for me! I'm impressed with the zoom and overall clarity of pictures. Usually the auto modes get things right, but by following advice in the user manual I was able to take some pretty unique shots. Professional quality, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is flawless!

I am absolutely pleased with this product from ease of use to its slim, compact size to its excellent picture quality and ability to work with low light. The length of the battery charge is satisfactory. I was replacing a digital camera from a competing company that I purchased in 2004.

I tried for hours to download pictures to a PC. I am not computer savvy. after looking at the camera, behind the rubber end panel there is a port for plugging in a mini B cord. So I purchased a mini B / USB cord. Wonderful. I wish the book with info would have said that this was an option.

I wanted something I could carry in a pocket, which I haven't had for a couple of years. The image quality on some of the photos has been pretty mediocre, but I like the zoom, which my phone doesn't have, and the macro focusing is great. I got several amazing close-up photos of dragonflies perched on dead branches, from about 12-15 inches.

The Powershot 190 is a great point and shoot camera. Takes very nice up close pictures, my only complaint is between 1-2 inches away from object the focus never catches, below 1 inch yes, over 2 inches yes. It's power seems to lie in quick scenery grabs and the zoom is fairly powerful. If you don't need pictures from across a stadium you don't need to buy anything pricier than this model. It does offer some adjustment for camera savvy people but I personally use the Auto mode more frequently. I find clearing out unwanted pictures much easier by moving the memory card to another device, unless you plan to erase all pictures or a cronological group the camera interface is a bit tedious. It also does not come with a memory card. I recommend a micro sd adapter card to give yourself more device options. The camera also has wifi capability, but this only works with the Canon site/app. It also has a tap to interface option that I have yet to find a device that works with it that is not a high end phone. Overall, I am very happy with the camera and feel the price for the value is quite reasonable.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. Fast shipping except that the charger didn’t work. I had to order one on Amazon prime so that she could use the camera on her trip. Otherwise, it’s a nice camera.

So far the camera has done what I expected.. good quality pictures. A bit convoluted to figure out how to transfer pix to a laptop but eventually I got it all to work. Works well once you figure out the directions...

Easy to use, point and shoot. Picture quality is good. Time to focus and AI calculations take a bit longer than my previous Canon Powershot (several years old). Probably because this camera has a better sensor than previous generation. Video quality is good w/ built in mic. I do like the battery. It's the same battery Canon has been using for the Powershot category for many years. So, if you already have a previous point and shoot battery/charger it may very well be compatible with this equipment. Software is simple to use. Control buttons are small, especially for larger fingers. Locating the center button is cumbersome at times. Overall, good camera to keep in the pocket for work documentation and it is smaller than my cell phone.

It worked pretty well for a while with about 20% of the pictures out of focus. Overall it was easy to use. I used it about twice a week. It gave out about 13 months after I bought it. Just out of warranty. The display screen quit working one month after warranty expired.

I have worn one out and now own a second. I use it daily and it gets a real workout each day. It has great options and is easy to download the video/photos via the card - my choice. I promote it when people ask which camera they should purchase. The present one has a nanosecond more of a lag on the video start compared to my last. The camera is up and recording almost immediately. It rides on a modified tripod on my bicycle and records video as I pedal. The camera removes the vibration from the videos.

The PowerShot ELPH 190 IS, is a pocketsize point and shooter that delivers 20MP resolution with surprising results. Prior to my purchase, I spent a few days in Digital Photography research and realized the 190 IS was more than enough for my project. The 190 IS delivered with features typically packed into a substantially more sophisticated camera. Features such as Wi-Fi and NFC, that make this little mighty mite a snap to transfer pictures to my Note 8 through the Canon Connect App. As days go by with this 190 IS, I experiment more and more with the ?Program? functions etc. With that in mind, I have no doubt the 190 IS has reinvigorated my appetite for a much more robust DSLR or Mirrorless down the road.

I find that there are times I want a camera but do not want to carry my camera bag. An evening out with friend...this camera in a small soft case with extra battery is perfect. picyurs are sharp and bright. A good addition to anyone looking for a pocket digital camera.

It is definitely not a professional level camera, but for boys who just want to have memories, it is perfect!!

I like this very much. It would be difficult to build on additional features without making it larger. I wish it had exposure bracketing. To go to a tilt screen the first Canon product is about a half inch larger. Too bad this design can't be improved without it becoming larger.

easy to use, yes. the camera worked well for two months, then abruptly showed dark corners in the display screen....as if shutter is not opening completely. the photos also have dard corners all around.

Bought this. A couple weeks ago to replace a failing pocket camera. It has been only a couple weeks ago but it seems to do what I need. Time will tell

Good deal on the refurbished unit, but like all of these cameras the battery life is a bit disappointing, and the inability to charge the camera directly with a usb is a hassle.

I love the quality of the pictures. They are so clear. The one issue I had was that I did not want the date stamped on each and every picture and it took a little while to figure out how to stop this feature.

We are thrilled with the gift set we purchased. Our tween age daughter can work this camera, but it would also be great for an adult looking for something small and easy. Great deal!

Got this Powershot Elph for my wife. She loves the size and high quality of the pictures. Will be taking it on next trip. We both highly recommend it.

Love this little camara!
By photoqueen
This camera takes great photos, and small enough to travel with and expect awesome photos. Also love the Wi Fi option so you can upload and don't need a computer, great camera for the price.
Just right!
By Anne2
This is the camera I take camping and backpacking. Its rechargeable battery lasts a long time and it's easy to tuck in a waterproof bag to keep moisture, dirt, and sand out of it. It connects to my computer just fine with a USB cord or I can take the memory card out and pop it in a card reader. My photos have been great -- good, even color, nice contrast. The zoom allows me to get photos of lizards and other small animals without upsetting them.
